What Henne were you watching in college? I saw a 4 year starter who was just as good as a freshman as he was a senior in terms of decision making and leadership.

Henne takes sacks in the red zone, forces passes on 3rd and long that lead to INTs instead of punts, and just overall fails to inspire...The same mistakes I saw him make as a freshman he made as a senior. Dude is ass. Worse than Jason Campbell, because at least Campbell finally developed his last year college. Henne stayed on the same level throughout.

Henne started and did a decent job. He has the talent, and with Chad there helping him for two seasons, it'd be hard for him to do worse than he did in college.

I DO NOT think Chad Henne is a better quarterback then Matt Ryan. What I said was that the Miami front office has said that Chad Henne in their opinion is every bit as good if not better then Matt Ryan.

I personally, think Chad Henne is going to be the best quarterback Miami has had since #13 himself.

This would be like me saying Mark Sanchez is going to be the best USC QB ever in the NFL because his senior year at USC was comparable to Leinart and Palmer's.

Or we could use his junior or senior film, since he didn't get any better. He still played like a freshman as a senior, not sure why Miami fans are so high on him.

He was actually good his junior year, and he was hurt his senior year, but by all means feel free to judge a quarterback's film when he has a pretty bad injury to his throwing arm.

Let me clarify what I'm trying to say here. Do I think Henne is going to set the world on fire and be better than Matt Ryan? No, thats just ridiculous to think about given where he is right now. I think he can be a quality quarterback for Miami if he's behind the right offensive line.

Henne was a very good QB his junior year, if you don't believe me then watch some film of his games that year. His senior year he was hurt throughout and obviously having an injury to your throwing shoulder it's going to be pretty difficult to have success, as was evidenced during the Ohio State game, as when he was able to get the passes off they had no zip on them at all.

i like henne... but i'm not overly confident that he'll be a solid NFL QB. he does fit the mold of an "NFL quarterback" and certainly has the potential to be a top QB, so i'm fairly optimistic. but what the hell does anyone know? we still haven't seen him do ANYTHING in the NFL yet.

B) He was a rookie who hadn't played QB in 3-4 years.
