Rodgers and the Green Bay offense were FAR from the issue last year. In 2007 the team was ranked 4th in PPG. 2008 5th. The defense on the other hand went from being ranked 6th to being ranked 22nd. Ask any Packers fan or anyone who actually watched that team who the issue was on 2008 with the Packers. It sure as hell wasn't Rodgers.

No I am not kidding. 13-3 to 6-10 is a big difference. Everytime Romo brings the team back and the defense gives up a score do you know who the blame goes on? The answer is Romo, the blame is always on Romo so its only fair to put all the blame on Rodgers.

I seriously question how much you know about the Packers or even football in general.

My roommate is a Packers fan. I don't watch GB football since its rarely on tv.


Really? Which games were those? Because for each one of those I promise you I can find more examples of Rodgers leading the offense to a lead then the defense either giving up the lead in the 4th quarter or pissing it away in the final minutes.

They still aren't good. Getting better than being awful doesn't really mean a whole lot if they still suck. I have also seen many Packer fans say that 70% of the sacks Rodgers took was because he holds onto the ball too long. That must be the offensive lines fault tho. (that 70% was said by primetime I believe. Obviously its probably not that high)

Ha! Have you seen how mobile Rodgers is? Rodgers is perhaps one of the most mobile QB's in the game and is great at rolling out.

Rodgers has too....but he has also watched his defense give up those comebacks on repeated occasions.

The blame goes on the QB. If it does in Dallas then its only right to put it on Rodgers. The defense led a drive by the Giants 2 years ago with under 2 minutes to go in the first half when Dallas was up. They let up 2 runs of 60+ last year to the Ravens. The blame still goes on Romo day in and day out



Romo being better than Drew Bledsoe doesn't make him that damn good.

Leading a team from being below mediocore to being 13-3 does though.

1. Manning
2. Brady

Logic fail. No, it's not fair to either..so that's why I don't do it and would then have to question that you, knowing it's unfair to do it to Romo, would then apply the same standard to Rodgers. I never levied unfair losses on Romo for his defense giving up leads late in games so in the context of discussing it with me it makes no sense to do it to Rodgers since it is unfair.

Those are examples of him leading game winning/leading drives. All of these games were decided late in the 4th quarter when Rodgers lead the team to the lead and the defense gave up the games on the final drives. Why the heck would I blame Rodgers for his defense's inability to stop anyone with the game on the line?

I mean even if you didn't watch the team play the highlight packages for the Packers for the final 5 weeks was: Rodgers leads game leading drive. Green Bay defense gives it right back up in final minute or so. Rodgers standing on sideline with a "WTF" look on his face.

Tony Romo: 13 games- 61.3% completion, 3,448 yards, 26 tds, 14 ints

Wow HUGE difference in numbers. God I wish Romo was as good as Rodgers.

2009 Stats:

Aaron Rodgers: 65.5% completion, 3,136 yards, 22 tds, 5 ints

Tony Romo: 60.2 % completion, 2,933 yards, 17 tds, 7 ints

Again, a HUGE difference. Also keep in mind that GB has played Detroit (2), Cleveland and St. Louis. Numbers 32, 28 and 24 in the league in passing yards allowed per game.

I know you can only play the teams on your schedule but any QB who got to play this type of schedule will have inflated stats.
