How many games will Indy win this year?

Especially in football where its a team game. They're like the Cleveland Cavs after losing Lebron James, its really mind-boggling. I gotta think they woulda been no better than an 8-8 team this year if Manning were healthy.

They haven't not been a double digit win since the 01 season when they lost Edge and have only not been a double digit win team twice under Peyton Manning (the other being his rookie season).

Not sure you understand the importance and just how good Manning is/was to this team. They win the South and make the playoffs with Gomer...without, winless team...that is how good and important the guy is.

Its like the Cleveland Cavs after losing Lebron James and also having to play Curtis Painter at point guard.

If people would have an orgasm when the Falcons would go 5-11 after going 9-7 with Vick the previous season, then I assume the Colts collapse has solidified Manning's title as greatest player in NFL history.

Well, you are seeing it now. This Colts team is not much different than others Gomer has played with and took to 10+ wins.

The Pats without Brady had another NFL starting QB behind him and a ton of other quality players on the roster.

And I have no idea what MM is.

Yeah, Painter sucks - but Indy has serious needs across the offensive line, receiver, runningback (never before have I missed Edgerrin James more), CORNER, CORNER, CORNER, and CORNER.

Yes, Bill Polian could have drafted someone else or even kept Jim Sorgi, but in the first half of the season this team was still losing games despite Painter not playing horrific.

Painter has clearly regressed in the last month, his confidence has been shot to shit and you can clearly see guys like Reggie Wayne aren't trying to put the team on their back anymore.

The team had issues before, Manning was just that good at keeping the defense out of shit field position (most of the time) and making sure Indy was going to get at least a solid 14-21 points every game.

I'm just amazed that an organization's success is built entirely on the health of one player. I understand that Manning was always healthy, but this just doesn't make any sense. I can't think of any team in the league where if they lost their best player they'd go from SB contender to winless.

Depends if they want to go fully into rebuilding mode, or if they wan to try to get talent for Manning's last years. Just depends on how much they believe Manning has left.

The Colts have holes galore, but Andrew Luck is a once in a 15-20 year type prospect.

The more I watch Luck, the more I feel like this is nothing more than a talking point that has snowballed into an overblown exaggeration.
