Actually, Fitzpatrick is exactly that kind of QB....a "spark" guy. He's a guy who can come off the bench, make some plays with his feet, improvise, and catch teams off guard. He gets exposed if he starts starts too many games in a row.
Think Doug Flutie, but not as dynamic. Or a late career Jim McMahon.

If Andy was willing to trade away his starting QB for years in Donavon McNabb.. you dont think he had some confidence in Kevin Kolb to be his starter? Week 1 vs a Packers team is tough to judge by.. its fair to give him a chance and see how he can perform. Id imagine his leash will be mighty short.

Dennis Dixon = Well its him or Batch, I supose the thinking is that maybe throwing him out there may help him develop, or maybe it just a situation where he out played Batch, but really my biggest gripe on putting him here is because its not like the Orgainzation picked him to be their guy, he is only starting because Ben is supsended, so its hard for me to knock the organization, especially being 2-0.
David Garrard = He was an ok starter a few years ago, however in the what have you done for me lately league, he has done nothing and looked so bad yesterday he got his ass benched, I would hope that they now know its time to move on.
Jake Delhomme = at one time, he was a good QB, he has taken a team to the SB, however that was 7 years ago, he has been a terrible QB the past few years which is why he isn't in Carolina anymore and as we see later on in the list when you are picking Moore over him, you know you got problems, can't see how he is any better than Anderson/Quinn
Matt Moore = Yeah I dont' get it, I mean its one thing to sit your young guy to learn from a good QB, or even a Jon Kitna type, but what is Clausen going to learn from this guy.
Matt Cassel = When you have Randy Moss you looked good like he did in NE, when you have no offensive line you look like he has looked the last 2 years. i want to say he is better than what we have seen, however he has done nothing to prove me right.
Alex Smith = I was never sold on this guy from day one.
Trent Edwards = the Bills have lots of problems, he is just one of them, when you lose your job to guys like J.P. Losman and Ryan Fitzpatrick not to mention can't look good when you have guys like Lee Evans and T.O.(last year) to throw too, then you really aren't very good
Kevin Kolb = Well I really don't think he has seen enough PT to be able to put him on this list
Chad Henne = Hard to fault that they are 2-0, sure he won't ever be a Dan Marino, but he could be a Jon Kitna/Trent Dilfer type, or maybe.
Josh Freeman = He is young, again another team that is 2-0 on here, like others have said i put him on the list with Henne and Kolb as not ready for the list.
Derek Anderson = "wow, Matt Leinart must REALLY suck." - had to quote you on this because I couldn't have said it better myself, when Anderson first started getting looks in cleveland he looked like a guy who could be a decent career backup, but to give him the reigns to replace the retired Warner that tells me that either Arizona has lost their minds or Leinart is really terrible.
Jason Campbell = yeah never got the hype around this guy, Washington knew enough to let him go and took advantage of the fact that Al Davis is out of his mind.

I wouldn't write off Kolb yet.
Give the guy a few games.
His first two games as a starter - he went over 300 yds in both games.
Everyone is writing him off because of one bad half against Green Bay. It's not like he was getting any protection.
Same deal with Freeman and Henne - way too early in their careers to write them off as stiffs (even if I think Freeman might end up being one).

I'm sure there are a few other teams who do too.
I hate when people keep referring to the Eagles as a West Coast offence/offense.
I suspect, in five years, half the teams in the league will be running some variation of the spread.
