If you are going to sit in Zone D all game

Before I go to bed I'm just gonna say that there are a lot of mfers on here that I don't consider sim, I see stuff all the time that I think isn't sim, and unless you are throwing to the RB out of the backfield 4/5 times (Alloutblitz) you can do whatever you want, because thats just how this game is. Noone open, hit that reciever in the flat, or the running back. We can all do it.

Personally I look for any possible route downfield, which is why I force a lot of passes and throw pick 6's all th etime and loseariaoheaorihjasgrarrgh


edit: man defense is a joke to me because the routes to the middle of the field 10-15 are left wide open because the cb's can't react, and the safeties are too far over the top. I dunno though, we all act like every coverage should stop any pass, and thats just not the way it is otherwise noone would ever score.

Why not? Most teams in the NFL play 90% either zone or man, they dont alternate between the two...

Thats when you MIX UP your play calling which is my whole point. If you come out in man 3 plays in a row, you know whats coming so why not throw in a zone (or vise versa) for one of those plays.if you ran 3 plays, one being man and 2 being zone, thats 33% man. i'm sure now one would be complaining about the game being boring.

Also you just proved my point, you said 90% either man or zone, not 100% which is whats happening and the whole point of my thread in the first place.

I personally have a hard fucking time against zone defense but it never really bothers me. You have to take what the defense gives you. If they're sitting in zone all day then take the short underneath shit. If they're playing man then you know just about everything works.

Strahan get off your high horse. There is no pass rush this year. Teams in the NFL don't need to blitz every down to get pressure on the QB. Unfortunately EA hasn't been imformed.

This game is garbage let's not take it out on one another.

Like said, I can't speak for everyone else, I have no problem beating zone. I mean I've played 20 tracker games and I've won most. Everyone plays almost the same so it's not like I can't beat it. The game is just boring. Hell Izzy mixes up his playcalling and plays good D (sometimes) so if he can do it, I know it can be done LOL

I thank god every day that I don't pick the same defense or offense twice in a row. I always mix my play up. I wish I pick zone all game vs Realist. He probably wouldn't completed 19 str8 passes in a row

He should complete 19 passes in a row, but thats where "sim" goes out the window because you would have to throw the same routes every play imo

And you still held my offense in check most of the game. just like i did yours and i mixed up my D. That game was fun, win or lose

Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't throw the same routes every play. Which I never do anyway. I completed balls to 7 different WR's all over the field.

Not sure if you were hinting that I wasn't sim or not...

Never fun when you lose. I really believe that. That the way dave thinks too. It a great game either way when u having fun win or lose. I don't believe that one bit. I try to have fun and mix my play on both sides. That because I think yall guys are too good to see the same defense twice. So I try to confused people.

But in my opinion. It dosen't matter what they do on defense. My job is too move the ball and gets points. Listen I will pull my hair out if I see the same defense 10 str8 games in a row. That I could see that being boring. But I know in the VSN people mix their games up.

That's the difference between me and you. You lose, you have to go to the gym to blow off some steam. I lose, I turn the game off and go about my life lol. It's a video game. I may be upset at the time but as soon as I turn the PS3 off, I'm done with it. It's not that serious to me and never will be, unless I start making money from it.

I feel ya Realist, not a fan of people running zone all game, and I wont abuse the flats if somebody plays man... I usually have 4-8 TOPS passes to my backs, And on defense I usually pick man, and then defensive hot route towards somebodies tendencies, most my defensive calls arent even in the game lol

I'm so sick of hearing there is no pass rush, I can get pass rush with the f'n lions. It's all about blitzing and knowing when and not when to blitz. The key is to catch the opponent waiting for a route to develop and getting sacked when he doesn't even realize it

I used it last year, I never found it really effective though. RB flats = fail too, good chance of fumbling if your oppenent actually tries to stop it properly... I like when somebody tries to pull cover 3 or cover 2 on you, and your back clears the short zone, turns up field, and has a good 15-20 yard gain up the sideline. Need good protection tho

You also use the eagles....and had Garcia... If I used a diff team you would of seen a hell of a lot more vertical passing....you can ask almost everybody else I play. Garcia noodle arm + Lousy WR's + your great CB's = play it safe

Im not going to play man so someone can just run drag routes and throw quick passes to the TE and RB, why should people mix up on defense when people just run the same shit over and over on offense?

i always try man and zone in the first quarter but if the guy is throwing to the flats (te) and going towards the middle on drag routes im playing zone

Same here....ill feel the person out, if i come out in man and its the same shit over and over, im not trotting man back out there, ill run zone and see how well that person does then.
