my league game with KG shows otherwise...i ran man 2 man the whole first half and got eaten alive because my LB's couldnt keep up with anyone, and my CBs were always 2-3 steps behind.

I play a ton of man coverage and get ass-raped on a consistent basis .... and that's using Philly - an elite defensive team.
But I refuse to be one of those knobs who puts eight back in zone coverage all game. That would be boring.

ive also switched to calling about 10 jailbreak blitzes per game in an attempt to try to get pressure. I might get 2 sacks per game still.

I use man coverage if my opponents running game is great and i need to run blitz to stop it and i use man coverage in 2nd and 3rd and long situations. Other than those situations i will use Man coverage once in a blue moon.

Guess what, in the real NFL LBs have trouble staying with RBs in space and it's not very easy to get a pass rush without blitzing.

You know there are other ways to play man then just picking man 2 deep. You can man up and blitz, you can man up and have a LB spying in the middle, you can be in man and have a DE in the flats, you can have one safety over the middle and one up top. You can bump and run. Use your brains people.

Playing Mobb last night really brought out flaws in gm. Not dissing him at all he was just taking what he could get. He played real conservative but effective passing game
Just a real frustrating game
If I was in man he had me easy with BW or Wr dragging.
In zone he hit wr dragging and a few times corner and 1 or 2 screen passses drive
I couldnt call man, tried when I figured he was running but he barely ran and got smoked when he was passsing. So it was dink dunk down to red zone and then screen pass to get in endzone or get it to 1-3 yrd line
Cant man up vs Screen cause its to easy to spot it and audible to beat the man with wrs speed and BW and zone doesnt work vs screen at all.
I would try to manually play it but never was sure if it was WR or HB screen...it would go we either way. Mostly the way I wasnt sitting on.
Its fucking frustrating as hell, It sucks when you know what is coming but you cant stop it.
Just a bitch to stop that offense when you dont have a pass rush without blitzing and when you blitz its so fucking obvious on slow mode thats its pointless vs a smart baller.
With the way Dline doesnt play its to easy to play this style offense
DSA ran similar style offense with the drags and screen passes but was easier to defend because you didnt have as many speed players to worry about just McFadden and HeyBay.... If I managed to covered them up he would run with Russell.
Im feeling in order to compete I have to play the same conservative style but I wont.. its not fun
If you play me you see more than drags,screens and outta the backfield passes. Im gonna throw a few pick 6s lol but at least Im trying to hit outs,posts, comebacks all types of routes

True enough, but when I went back and looked at the replays, i ran man2man majority of my plays and the flats werent open. Shit is still broken though and needs to be fix. my whole point was just that zone didn't need to be run all game by anyone
