This game is dogshit online.

It's not terrible offline with the right sliders. I actually managed to play like 12 games of a season before I got sick of it. That's a massive upgrade over years past. :shifty:

The game offline with the right sliders is almost damn good.
I suspect once the patch drops, this game will be near perfect with the right sliders.
I love how teams play like they do in the real NFL and I love Gameflow on offence, because it does cut down game time.
On D, it's problematic, because it calls way too many base Ds vs 3-5 WR sets.

man I think you guys are smoking some shit. I hate this years game, 10 was better. This game feels like its made for 9 to 15 year olds. Wide open on offense. QB ratings are way up in all leagues, defenders only do thier assignment sometimes. The control is better wr/db wise but running gm is cheesy.

This year is easy madden...just push X
push X for playcall,hike, throw cause that te post is money, on d having to hold down X to get to tackle...who actual manual tackles now after first few weeks relealizing what a disadvantage control wise you have to the locomotion rb BS? lol

I think this is a big reason why people like this game this year. On offense they dont have to do as much thinking like in years past. Scoring is way up this year compared to last few and I really dont think it has to do with "skills"(some of it is of course) but with the lack of D in this game.

just had a great game vs LJ27 in 220 lost 24-14 but it was a battle. Guys complaining about run game just dont call right D. First play gm I called a overload blitz to wrong side and he took it 59yards for td. Held him to 89 on 19 carries after that. If I didnt make a couple bad reads...

I just see all the bs on AM and it pisses me off to no end. Game feel so scripted on AM also. Like boost to differnet aspects of the game. Guys are calling the same plays and same Ds cause they are playing the AI.

Everything just feels more balance on AP and I feel Im playing the play not the cpu.

Seriously anyones next 220 game play it smart dont play greedy thinking AI got your back if you fuck it up and let me know the results. Shit almost feels like football.

Thats the problem that I have with AM too. Ive seen MFers with low play recognition and awareness run the route before my receiver even makes his break. That shit is frustrating as hell. How are you suppose to get timing down with your receiver when the defense will run it better then your guy. I keep going back an forth on my feelings with AM and AP. I can't wait to see if this patch makes AP playable again.

Tim and QS make some valid points and I still think AP is where it is at just like last year. I've booted some dead weight in the 220 and have the Broncos, Dolphins and Colts open if some of you league veterans are interested in checking out the better gameplay on AP.

Could not agree more with this QS. On AP, it feels like the corners are actually reacting to the routes being run rather than just jumping the route. I also think that on AP, the ratings play more of a factor. You can definitely see a difference between the higher rated players and the lower rated players.

Right... I felt that way with AP in Madden 10 as well.

if they tone the broken tackles down from the current sliders of 900 to about a 60 level i might play all pro again. I think there's too many broken tackles on all madden, on all pro its just crazy.

Yep... that is my beef with AP. So many broken tackles equal more big plays on AP.

You would think that would be the case but it isn't. The average points per game scored on AM is about 4.5 higher than on AP for 220.
