I tell you what, looking at the courses for the Global Challenge, it looks like some nice tracks. I wish when you clicked the link there would be a one lap video showing the course. I know you can click on the map and see pictures but video would be nice (without having to goto Youtube)

I came away with a broken leg, 3 broken ribs and a broken arm.

Yeah I think my 3-4 track purchase this week is going to be mostly for that series. I bet driving the Kia would result in some real nice iRating boosts. I haven't seen many in these practice lobbies.

I need to sell some other crap I have that I don't use, which there is a ton of.

I think I'm going to get Barber Motorsports Park, Mid-Ohio and Mosport. I'll probably pick up a 4th, but I'm undecided on if I want to get another track for Global Challenge or something from the Mustang Challenge.

I just ran the Global Challenge at Lime Rock. Damn that was fun. I was in the 2nd split, and they had me starting 5th on the grid. So b/c of my practice session experiences tonight, I decided to just start from the pits. 25 minute race and we ran 29 laps. I got slowed up the first few laps by some cars, but nothing too bad. I finished P7 after starting 15th and I finished on the lead lap. It really was a lot of fun and I love this Caddy. Unfortunately there were no Kias in the race.

Had 3 slight offs and my D license Safety Rating is now up to 2.99.

Wish I could find a list of all the special events they do. Obviously they just did the Indy 500 (well, kind of). I know they have the 2.4 Hours of Daytona in January and the 1.2 Hours of Sebring in March. I have no idea what else they do.

Got my stand today. Going to be so much less of a pain in the ass to get my wheel out and ready now. And it should be quite a bit more comfy of a setup.

I ran some 'Ghost' laps on Summit Point (Jefferson Course) and got down to 58-59 seconds per lap. Its a tricky little bugger though.
You certainly have to coast a couple laps to allow your tires to warm up, otherwise you'll be in the grass.
