they werent expected to beat the Patriots. He did way more then they thought he would accomplish over the whole season and I already said what he did in the first playoff game. Youre knocking a guy for being an inexperienced young player. Where is it written in stone that he wont improve? You guys constantly talk about not buying hype and yet all your doing is chirping the redundant media crap who look for the negative angle no matter what......now,if only the Broncos and Jets could meet in the playoffs LOL
They weren't expected to beat the Steelers, either.
I've said from day 1 that Tebow will never be a good NFL QB because of mechanics. He hasn't been able to fix his footwork or throwing mechanics after playing the position for 10-15 years, what makes you think all of a sudden he is going to be able to do so?
Even then, he has trouble reading defenses. He has so much learning to do that it's highly unlikely that he will be able to improve much because he is so bad, completing 46% of passes is horrid. It's not like he is good and can get great, he's flat out awful.
And he's not that inexperienced. This will be his 3rd year in the league and he hasn't improved at all.
Why do you think the Broncos just traded him? No doubt Manning has a few years left in him but his health is in question, if anyone knows whether or not Tebow has the potential to improve you'd think it'd be Elway, Fox, and the Broncos. Give him a couple years behind Manning and then he could take over if he has potential right? Wrong. They traded his ass for a reason. Think about it.
You are the one drinking the kool-aid, sir, not I. You want to believe in Tebow because you're an evangelical christian freak just like him and he's the feel good story of the year, the little engine that could, the underdog, etc. You guys will hold on forever until he is out of the league or changes positions.
He can be a great football player - but not a great quarterback. Move him to another position or have him play some sort of HBack role and I think he could definitely help a team.
