the Cowboys have a 2-2 record while playing the hardest December schedule out of any team.

At NY, which is always a battle

Home against a hot SD team which had won like 15 straight in December and were on a roll again.

On the road against an undefeated Saints team which handled business against the likes of the Giants, Patriots, etc and we leave with a win.

On the road against Washington which again is always a battle.

You don't have to give them credit though, they don't need your approval. They went into December with everyone on their case about not being able to win, they leave with a 2-2 record against 2 opponents who are the #1 seed in the NFC and the #2 seed in the AFC, respectively and 2 road division games which are NEVER gimmes.

Now they end their season with a 3rd division foe that determines whether they get a possible 2 seed (if minny loses) or a 3/6 seed.

edit: to answer you question, the criticism was that they couldn't win in December but the winning record thing is thrown around as well
