Correction.
It took him 3 games. Don't try to act as though Manning was in the playoffs every year for six years and failed. He started 0-3 in the playoffs. Then started the Patriots trend over the next few years.
Yes, Manning has struggled in the playoffs. I'm not disputing that point what I was saying is that I'm not going to currently put Romo in the catagory of "elite" Qb until he has some playoff success. Manning has had playoff success, thus he is an eleite QB. Romo has yet to have that success. Bringing up Manning's 0-3 start to his playoff career doesn't have any bearing on this discussion seeing as he has had success since that start and I didn't consider him "elite" until he had that success.

He's played the Patriots in 03, 04, and 06. In 05 he lost to the eventual SB champion Steelers. So he has played the Pats three times in the playoffs. Not the twice you as you put it. STFU and know what the hell you are talking about.
And no I did not think Manning was an elite QB until at least the 03 season(His first MVP). Up until that point all he had done was put up stats and not much else. He lost to the Pat's that year in the playoffs but not only won his MVP that season but won his first two playoff games of his career before falling to New England. Not only does Romo not have a playoff win to compare to Manning's but he also doesn't have an MVP as Manning won in 2003. IMO In Mannings 6th season he truly became elite. I've always stood by that and thought that. That 6th season he put everything together and from then on has been the complete package.

I for one have never called Romo elite, not yet anyway. Like firsttimer said, the potential is there. He is a great regular season QB but not elite.
FT you have to realize with Cowboy fans. They either LOVE Romo and back him when he needs no backing or they hate him and want him gone when he has a single crappy game. There are only a few who take him for being a good to great qb.

Hes done nothing but solidify that stance. His play in December has been better than just about anyone else. Thats a big hurdle he's overcome.
Lets not count our eggs before they hatch though. Next weeks game poses the ol Wild Card problem. How do you game plan against a team you know you will face the next. Its hard to pull together two good games against a divisional rival 2 weeks in a row. The odds are against Romo and Dal doing it.
At the end of the day Tony Romo banged and dropped 2-3 hot celebs. The man is a genius. What kind of 'tard becomes a famous millionaire then marries first hot chick he bangs ??
