Downplaying? I don't need to down play anything, you all seen the game. My personal opinion wouldn't persuade you to think otherwise. I'll go ahead and give you my 2 cents just to entertain you for a moment.

Jim Tressel messed that game up by constantly switching out Todd Boeckman and Terrel Pryor, if he'd kept one of them in the entire game the outcome might not of been different but the offense hadn't of been so spotty. Two, we didn't have Beanie Wells, which injuries happen and I'm not saying he'd make that much of a difference but look at OSU's offense when he's playing versus that night.

What killed it for the Buckeyes really was when the game was 14-3 and that touchdown pass got called back on a questionable hold. After that the momentum went flat, the crowd was too much and the game slipped away.

There you have it, my opinion.

Now are you admitting that Tressel makes dumb decisions as a coach and that OSU Defense is (...well how could I put this?) um Overrated?

Tressel still has a lot to learn about being a coach at Ohio State versus the strangle hold he had in his time with Youngstown State. At YSU he could do what he wanted and no one cared, he had four I-AA NCs (Out of 6 NC Appearances, and 10 playoff appearances) to shut them up with. At OSU he has one and two failures, unacceptable.

Here's where Tressel makes mistakes, he relies too much on defense and throttles his offense, if he wants to win. And not just against the Big Ten he's gotta learn to let it go, yeah it's a Pete Carrol/Bob Stoops move but it's working for them. Tressel often does make dumb decisions but his record you can't deny. 208-73-2, the guy knows how to win.

OSU's defense was tops for two years in a row. Two years they held that top spot. This season there were too many variable moves to consider it for a third running, from a realistic stand-point. To say that the defense is overrated? Yeah by the media/National standards they are overrated this year, my personal belief being that I knew they weren't going to be as good, but they're not terrible either.

I'm Military Police, so the law thing isn't such a concern.

Funny you mentioned that though, planning on running for Mayor of my hometown though. Just to dabble in politics. It's a small town so it's not like i could screw up an entire infrastructure, well at least one that mattered.
