[360] Kinect....Yay..or Nay ?

Just checking in with the people that bought this quality peripheral. :tiptoe:

It's been out for FIVE MONTHS now and the last BIG game release for it was yet another dance game (Shocker!), the Michael Jackson Experience. I still can't remember the last first party game that was released.

I have a handful of people in my friends list that have one and only ONE has played it in the last three months. He played the MJ game. But he has Gamefly and rents most of his games so I'm not sure that counts. Our old pal Chodite hasn't played his since a few weeks after release and that motherfucker hyped that shit like it was the re-invention of the wheel. I think Dave might be friends with him on FB and can attest to that. If I remember correctly he old his Wii and all his games to buy one. All he ever plays is Black Ops.

So, seriously, do you guys actually play the thing?

That Yoostar game actually looks like it could be fun but I've read that the quality is not the greatest and the Kinect camera is very finicky (another huge Shocker!) about your positioning. Plus I think it is available on PS3 too?

Yeah, I can definitely seeing it as a huge win if you have kids. One guy I work with said his kids, well actually his daughter, really love it. His two sons are constantly playing Black Ops though.

Speaking of Move, I just read yesterday that you can use it to play HR Derby on The Show? I didn't know that. That' sounds pretty cool.
