You just missed one about a week ago. Best Buy had them for $43 and they never go on sale so I took advantage.

There's the PS3 exclusive mission, that tigstah mentioned. And then there's the retailer specific mission. Gamestop, Amazon, and Best Buy(I think) each have a unique mission if you pre-order with them.

There's a Rockstar pass that's coming out next week for 800pts($10) that I'm guessing will give you all of those retailer exclusive missions, but no official word on what it exactly is.

You might want to check out your local Best Buy to see if they have the PS3 Controller and Greatest Hits game bundles on clearance. There's a thread on CAG about folks finding them anywhere from $36-48.

Cut content in L.A. Noire could be re-instated as DLC, developer Team Bondi has revealed.

Two types of cases were removed from the title - burglary and bunko. The latter is 1940s slang for swindling, in case you were wondering.

Each desk contains multiple cases for players to investigate, suggesting a hefty amount of material didn't graduate from the academy.

"We've got two full desks – burglary and bunko – that never made it into the game," Team Bondi founder Brendan McNamara told 1UP. "We've been thinking those and whether we'll do them."

While Team Bondi decide what DLC to develop, Rockstar is already pushing ahead with its own downloadable content plans.

Next week brings the mysterious Rockstar Pass for Xbox Live. The day-one add-on promises to "take your L.A. Noire experience to the next level."

Could it contain the various pre-order exclusives spread between retailers? Together that would entail several new cases and outfits. Whatever it is, expect to be charged 800 Points (£6.80) for the priviledge.

I'm going to be a bit pissed if they just decide to do one Rockstar pass thing that gets you all the pre-order DLC for $10. Sure that will be great for people that get NO pre-order bonus but it pretty much screws people that do get one of them. I couldn't care less about the special suits and I'm going with GS for the free case. So if they go that route I have to pay $10 just to play the Walmart case?

I hope that isn't what happens.

Yeah, they do. They can look it up by your phone number. Although make sure you remember what number is tied to your Gamestop account because I shit you not, I saw some clown trying to pick up a pre-order one time and rattlled off seven different numbers. They couldn't find the reserve under any of them. He swore he reserved it at that particular store though. Seven numbers? Really? Deal drugs much you burner phone having fuck?
