Oh, I know they could, and if they are about an hour each $2 would be very appropriate, but I don't see that happening. $5 would be much more appropriate. Just think, most games these days are $60 and last 6-10 hours. If they charged $5 for an extra hour, six of those cases would be only $30 extra and would be the length of a lot of games tehse days.
I know every podcast I've listed to says the last ME2 DLC was about 45 minutes. And I know there was at least one other pack that was an hour or less as well? Kasumi maybe? But you would know better than me. Even Vinny Caravella from Giant Bomb, who is a self proclaimed ME fanboy, said he was very disappointed in the last ME2 DLC and it was way too short and way over priced at $7.
Even if you are right the DLC should be content specific. Every pack shouldn't just be $7. I have no idea why MS insists on doing that bullshit. Just look on PSN. You have games and DLC with all kinds of different prives. You have map packs as low as $2.99 and most at $5.99. On 360? $10 normally. Look at exclusive arcade games. On PSN you have games for anything from $2 to $20 (for big tiotles like Wipeout HD). Look at Dungeon Hunter for $13. Games like Shatter are $6. It seems on PSN they price most of the games and content pretty appropriately. MS just prices things a flat rate on what they think they can get from people, not any value whatsoever. It pisses me off.
I'm just glad that they finally starting doing sales on shit after four fucking years.
But I can all but guarantee if Rockstar releases extra cases, which they probably will just based on the pre-order exclusives, they will be closer to $7 a pop.
