Pau Gasol admitted in his press conference after Sunday's Game 4 loss that he needs to do a better job of handling his off-court issues.
Despite Gasol saying that his personal life was not an issue, there was clearly something that was hampering his play throughout the series against Dallas. It should be interesting to see what kind of offseason looms for Los Angeles.

Lamar Odom was ejected from Game 4 vs. Dallas for a flagrant-2 foul against Dirk Nowitzki.
The cheap shot came with about nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Lakers trailing by 28 points. It wouldn't be surprising to see Odom face scrutiny from the league office following the team's embarrassing performance.

Seconds after Lamar Odom was ejected from Game 4, Andrew Bynum delivered a cheap elbow to J.J. Barea and was immediately tossed from the game.
Bynum had no intention of making a defensive play on the ball and clearly sought to injure Barea. The starting center is almost guaranteed to face a hefty fine from David Stern, who notoriously comes down hard on players that commit dirty plays. This is a sad way for the Phil Jackson coaching era to come to a close.



These two should be fined HUGE and suspended for the first week of next year. THUGS

Thugs? IMO they just let the moment get the best of them. Odom's been around a long time and for the most part has never been labeled a “thug” guy. Bynum if anything else is just immature, but far from a thug. Either way I’d expect Odom to be lumped in with Bynum, and both will probably miss 5-10 games next year. Bynum actually has a history of this, so he’ll probably face much more harsh penalty.

it doesnt matter what your definition is, you are missing the point. Odom doesnt do this shit. Odom is a reality star. he's also a hell of a competitor that let the heat of the moment get to him. he was a champion on a team about to get swept down by 30.

what we're saying is not an argument of terminology, its an argument of tendency. one play does not make somebody anything, unless your 10-15 year older than us definition of thug means "guy i snapped judgment on cuz i caught a playoff game this one time"
