Bullshit. Im glad he's a fucking reality star because he isnt much of an NBA star. Fucking guy was suppose to be the next coming of Christ and is nothing more then a 6th man and cant even start on that team.

Lamar Odom is a pretty damn good player, could even be a star on another team, he has those skills. But because of the situation hes the sixth man, and I commend him for taking that role.

This whole thing is probably upsetting you more then it should sir, this shit is not all that uncommon in the NBA. Shit happens.

Ill sir you. Its not upsetting. I just remember him coming out of high school and college (after he got hammered with taking money from a booster) then he gets nailed with two possession charges while a Clipper and gets suspended.

Yeah I guess he did have good numbers 16 and 10 or whatever, but I just think he never amounted to the talent he should have been.

But this thread isnt even about his talent. Its about the Bush League Chickshit him and Bynum did.

I have NO PROBLEM with hard fouls, hell sometime guys get flagrants and it they really didnt mean to foul a player like that. Remember the one break away in the Sixers game Holiday went up and someone from the heat fouled him, but Holidaygot tripped with another Heat player so it looked like he was hammered alot more then he was.

You wanna hammer Barera go right ahead, but make it look like you were trying to block a shot, I mean just to throw an elbow right into the guys chest

So you were able to find 3 videos of hard fouls throughout Bynum's career. For a center this seems pretty normal to me. 3 "incidents" in a 6 year career.
 
Not to compare them as players but I'm pretty sure Ewing had more than 3 plays like that in his rookie year alone.

With 8:21 left in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinal series, and the Lakers down by 32 points, Barea beat Steve Blake off the dribble, drove the lane and soared to the basket for what looked like an uncontested layup. But the 7-foot, 280-pound Bynum closed in and threw a right elbow into the 6-foot Barea's ribs. Barea flew sideways to the court and remained there writhing in pain.
 
I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about this........I guess its because the perception of a big 7'0" 280 pound brute center hitting a defenseless, innocent and feeble 5'11" 175 JJ Barea when the game was out of hand.

The game was out of hand the series was over. totally uncalled for, like i said before, if this was game 2 Im fine with it because it would make him think about it for atleast two more games. And dont just swing an elbow, if you want to bury the guy atleast make it look like you want to block the shot or something

It was a cheap shot, but I guess I just don't care, because good or bad cheap shots happen. Its too bad the NBA doesn't have the mercy rule like they have in children rec leagues.
 
Feel like we are watching a childrens rec league sometimes. that was my entire problem with it, it was a cheap shot and he did nothing to hide it in any way. Some MMA fighters dont throw elbows like that.
