i remember playing with twigg last week, we had to switch to easy just to finish one campaign. i was playing earlier, we ran into 3 witches within a few hundred yards. there are too many special infected. l4d1 was perfectly balanced. the one thing i can say, the weapons are more plentiful. i will be back online later tonite....trying to survive on normal again.....

Exactly. That's what every podcast is echoing as well. They are all saying that when they heard Valve say that they were revamping the Director they all said "Noooooooooooooo, the Director is fine as is." Sure enough, they adjusted shit and now it's all fucked up.

seems like that would make alot of sense, I don't really think them meeting up would work any other way unless it was just a short cut scene and they went off in their own directions...

What really ticks me off is that the OXM podcast had Chet Faliszeck on a few episodes ago. They asked about DLC and he said they were going to have some but wouldn't elaborate. Then they asked him about the DLC for the first one and the quick turnaround on the new game. The thing that pissed me off is that they asked him about it costing on 360 yet this clown wouldn't tell them wh's' decision that was. I remembering reading a while ago that M$ forced them to charge on 360, like they do with most developers. I mean, I know it's an 'Official' Xbox podcast but OXM has never pulled punches in the past and they constantly talk about the RROD and shitty failure rate of the 360. Yet they didn't delve deeper. Maybe they did ask them and it was cut out. It just seems like Valve has become so commercial and politically correct these past few years.

I kn ow it's a bit of a sidetrack but this info made me think of that.

I think I'm officially donw with this game.

My wife and I popped in the game a bit ago and I was happy to see an update. I figured maybe they toned down the ridiculous difficulty. NOPE.

I loaded up Hard Rain on Normal and we barely made it through the first Chapter. Then, on the second chapter (where you are running through a Sugar Plant) we wen through a one minute stretch where we saw FIVE fucking witches and a tank. I shit you not. Then, about another minute later we hit another witch and all got killed.

We tried again and I died before we even got to the point where you have to call for the elevator.

Fuck this game.

just finished hard rain on normal.....13 times we had to restart....3 1/2 hours. it was fun, this one guy kept us laughing. 2 tanks a the last part was killing us over and over again.
