It may not have hurt this particular merger, but reps do get around.



And, the unmerciful trolling of these guys is what killed the merger. You were all ready to run Houston out of town, and I actually think he's OK as long as he's not fighting back from being trolled.

Point is, try and help guys become better posters instead of driving them out, and we wouldn't lose so many, and we'd have a much better chance at a merger.

I don't always think I'm right. These are just my opinions.

There was no hope for JTRaines. And Houston became better through tough love.

If you check this place out, VSN is actually statistically more active.

Has nothing to do with me or VSN actually. The merge was actually "final" before they made their "merger thread asking the community if they wanted to". They were just covering their bases.

It sounded actually like about 70/30 were down for it and the rest would have went with the flow. I am sure most of them will wind up here at some point whenever the site is fucked up or gets sold. Those sites are so cyclical these days.

I set that site up a couple months ago and own the domain name, as a kind gesture, I haven't forwarded the domain to Meatspin.

On a different note though, you guys should go check out how butthurt everyone is over at VSN about the failed merge. They are literally getting pissed about it... Calling us pussies, one of their admins gave them the green light to porn bomb us, etc. It's rather amusing to see their real personalities come forth.

I like Rush but it was plainly obvious the merge would have been a huge disaster as 90% of the rest of the members over there try way too hard to be hardasses. It is really showing now.

Sorry to hear Rush. To bad things fell through. Trying to be serious, I think VSN burns to many bridges. You had the owners excited about the move, but it sounds like a couple of ex-VSN'ers put up a lot of resistance.

I say groan away cause you all won't want to hear this, but maybe if the VSN Pirate porn bomb stuff stopped and the unmerciful trolling that's done, fewer bridges would be burned and we would have a better chance at a move like this.

Although, it's just human nature to resist change (like a merger) it's always gonna be an uphill battle. Too bad the owners caved to the pressure. Hope the next time things go better.

Well as you can see those guys are faggots and I knew it would never work out. And the mergers would work out if you waited to troll- there are always shitty members on each site that are shat on, so join in with the others and everyone will eventually learn to get along. But like I said, those guys suck.

I was kind of hoping for a merge, I have become bored with this site. Activity has fallen off, the chise section is dead, J.Live is MIA, I think Nevermind might be coming on to me, etc...

Maybe I have just grown out of the forum thing, but the only thing that keeps me coming back lately is talking about the Seahawks or strange stories I need to vent with Woy in the CB..

we dont merge... we absorb, take over or shut down sites and keep the posters that cant either take the abuse or are cool. this is vsn, nothing more nothing less. and it will always be this. at some point we will even take over PP's site and his so called followers so we can encourage a few of them to either stop posting altogether or commit suicide on youtube. why is there always someone who wants to change us? if you want friends and to be loved, go outside.
