Do players have more realistic momentum this year? Any change to how heavy/light the players feel? What will they tell you about how they improved the O-Line AI, especially to counteract the new D-Line moves? Pass Interference penalties? Any changes to the kick meter? Is the wind direction still reversed (ffs)? How many rookies have their face scanned? What changes were made to the player models (limbs, size, etc.)? Any changes to the depth chart? New running animations?
Thanks if you can get answers to any of these!
All of my impressions are from Early Builds. Hopefully MrBill can chime in when he has time as well.
1. If you played next gen for M25, the players move very similar to that... A bit more stiff.
2. Unfortunately I did not feel any change to player weight and momentum. Hopefully we can get a more clear picture based off of hands on time from folks attending E3.
3. The defensive line acts much smarter and we see much more horizontal movement. I still had little to no issue getting overload pressure however (kinda how it should be unless the proper line calls are made by the offense.)
4. We saw OPI and DPI in the builds we played in February.
5. The builds we played, the wind direction was correct. Between then and now god only knows so we will once again wait for feedback from E3.
6. New kicking meter... You won't be hitting 50-60 on the regular for sure! Much more difficult... I shanked a ton of field goals.
7. I will get back to you on Rookie face scans.
8. I will see about an exact change list to player models... I know so had full body scans but don't know how many.
9. Will check on limbs... But I do know changes can't be patched.
10. Anything specific on the depth chart you want to know?
11. Will check on running animations.
