Madden Sliders Thread

Used em, i won 17-14 which is refreshing. I was down until 4 mins 14-3 which again was awesome. I was able to score and stop them with 1 57 left, got blitz and i threw it to Barber outta the backfield and he breaks 2 tackles and scores with 1 30 on the clock. 17-14, The Giants convert a 4th down and get into my territory before throwing a pick. i win.

I used 10 min 25 sec run off tho. Ima bump it up because i had only 25 rushing yds and both teams had only 450 yds total offense combined.

Ok tho so far.

Ok second game was much better with the new clock and acc, I had 401 total offense 192 of em Rush yds, Carolina had over 100 yds rushing and about 290 total yds. I won 27-24, they lead with 5 mins to go 24-20 off a pick six duck shit.

Pass rush for me does nothing. I have 1 sack in both games, im hitting the QB but not coming up with any sacks. Ima fiddle around with that.

Go to main menu, put the sliders in and save your profile, than load up your franchise and Bam there they are.

Just played a game with these. I was the Lions and I played against the Saints. I lost 34-31 in OT. Here are some stats:

Brees had 316 yards passing and 2 tds with 2 ints. Pierre Thomas ran the ball 18 times for 50 yards. Vilma had 11 tackles.

For me, Culpepper was 12-23 with 200 yards passing and 2 tds. Kevin Smith had 30 carries for 174 yards (I broke a 65 yard td and another 40 yard run).

Pretty solid game, it was a little high scoring but what can you expect from two teams with no defense. I'll play against the Vikings tomorrow and they are a good running team and good defensive team. So, if I remember, I'll post the stats from that game as a comparison.

I've played another game with them and I'm gonna stick with them. I played the Vikings and had some trouble running the ball while Peterson got about 125 yards on 22 carries. Culpepper was 13 for 25 with 204 yards passing 2 tds and 2 picks. Kevin Smith was shut down by the Vikes D and had about 40 yards on 14 carries. I lost the game 26-17.


I am doing 7 minute quarters instead.

I messed around with two other sets of sliders over at OS before landing here:

I've played two games with these sliders, and like them pretty good (with the exception of my complete lack of pass rush). Still, overall they feel fantastic, and I think that if I can properly tweak them to my playing style, I'll have a real winner on my hands.

Even if you don't like the sliders, you have to admire the amount of work this man is putting into this set. Dude is running a ridiculous amount of test runs, timing actual NFL players and QB throwing times to compare them to the game and tweak sliders based off that, and then doing some crazy work in the rushing game where he's developing profiles on different RBs, determining the YPC average on different rushing plays so he can tweak the rushing further.

On a side note, 12 minute quarters with a 15 sec. accelerated clock is P-E-R-F-E-C-T. When determining quarter length, I take a look at the number of plays each team is running. What I'm looking for is 60 plays per team per game for a total of roughly 120 plays per game. But I also like to see one team get 50 and the other get 70 if the time of possession is slanted in the favor of one team. I've played five games so far with this quarter length, and it's perfect every single time.

the OS set St Fran posted seem similar to what beavs posted in the OP. The OS sliders though seem to off just by looking at them though. Specifically in the cpu pass dee area. CPU Pass rush seems very high and reaction does as well.

I continued to use them in my Lions chise. I finished 5-11. The games were very realistic. Culpepper had 12 tds and 12 ints. Stafford had 9 tds and 7 ints. Kevin Smith got about 1200 yards and had 80 yards per game. Defensively my leading sack guy had 11 and my leading interception guy had 5.

My QBs played like 72 and 79 overall players. They'd miss some throws. My lineman would get beat. CPU running backs who were good, played like good backs. Peterson went over 100 yards both times I played him. As did guys like Portis and Forte. The QBs didn't go 19-22 either. They'd make some bad throws. Kurt Warner, for example, went something like 17-29.

I like osubeavs sliders and I'm going to continue to use them. I play on 7 minute quarters for the record.

this is probably a dumb question, but how do I edit human skill? anytime I try to get human sliders or whatever I can only change it to all pro, custom, my skill, all madden, rookie, pro, etc.

go to custom sliders then go down and click passing and then more sliders come up, then go to rushing same shit happens ect

I think the key with player skill sliders isn't just to move them from say 10 to 12. You have to change what is inside them to really make the game more realistic.
