As an addendum to the previous podcast...

If you play on Old School and/or Hardcore, there is no "Last Man Standing" mode after you get clipped.

Also, the number of bullets and painkillers given if you die too many times in one spot is greatly decreased.

...unfortuately, if you want to unlock more dudes/stuff for MP, you gotta man up and get it done.

The serious tone of this still has me in doubt if I'll like it...and I went to get it through Red Box on 360 (all that was available) and it's just the first disc. I feel like this must have been talked about but, how the fuck do they get away with this? It even says in the description: THIS ONLY INCLUDES THE FIRST DISC OF THE GAME WHICH HAS THE FIRST HALF OF THE SINGLE PLAYER STORY AND THE MULTIPLAYER.

I have one, it just wasn't available on it, as I said (probably because then you get the whole damn game instead of half of it).

Man this game is pissing me the fuck off. The matchmaking is utter trash. You go to find a game and it takes for fucking ever to get into a room with a decent amount of players even with lage deathmatches then you get in and start playing and the room randomly drops saying it was your connection.

Yeah, we talked about it many pages ago. It was one of the main reasons I went with the PS3 version.

Sending out the 360 versions to rental outlets is beyond dumb, especially Red Box. I personally think it was just Rockstar's way of saying "Fuck off and buy our game you cheap fuck. P.S. The 360 is old technology."

I think it's just a Red Box thing, as Handle posted it way back on page 7. Personally, I don't know why Gamefly sends both discs. That's just super nice on their part. They could easily say "Fuck it, it's not our fault the 360 is so antiquated. Either increase your plan to two discs at a time or get the second one when you send the first one back." I mean, did they send out the five discs, or whatever it was, for the shitty Xbox version of Final Fantasy 13?

I imagine GameFly would piss off a good bunch of their 360 subscriber base if they didn't send all of the discs for those games, and they always seem to be high profile games like Max Payne 3, Mass Effect 2/3, L.A. Noire, etc. that have multiple discs. I know that I wouldn't be very happy having to wait for someone else to return disc 2 before I could finish my game, personally.

Have you seen gamefly's packaging? It's just an envelope with a sleeve and cardboard foldable to protect it. It's not anything costly, for them. 2 discs and shipped in one sleeve. I think there's just 3 games on 360 that have more than 2 discs. LA Noire, FF13, and Lost Odyssey.

It still sucks that you can't find a game when I know there's thousands who own this shit (probably more who just got it for the SP or rented it like Brink).

I own both consoles, am not a fanboy ... but, unless you only own a PS3, I don't get the PS3 vote.
Admittedly, I own a first-gen 60GB ps3 that's louder than the current 360 (I own the 250-gb elite). I seriously don't get this love for the ps3.

The matchmaking sucks right now. I'm surprised at how many people are playing the Soft Lock gametypes. I don't see how that's any fun at all.

Casuals and people who boost due to crippling ADD.

Add in all the folks who rent and/or play for a week then trade this in for $30 credit at GameStop as well.

I can imagine it's only going to get worse when more folks get out of school/work and plug this in.

Well, at least they separated free aim and auto aim. Let the bums have their fun. Im getting the hang of the game now. Im routinely getting 16-22 kills a game with half the deaths or less. Came a lond way from my 1st few days when I felt I would never be good the way I was getting raped.

Yes. I remember having to unlock "expert aim" playlists on RDR. And hosts not setting it to free-aim on GTA IV.

I've been using a light class with an M10 and PT92 and have been doing better too.

What happens when the guy who's been dry fucking the Free Aim boards for weeks decides he's like to swap to the Soft Aim boards to magically gain near-auto aim?

He's not going to run all the boards in one night but it's going to ruin a few peoples days.
