Watching Sportscenter this morning and this douchecunt came on and released his rookie QB grades.
He gave Bradford a C (I think?). He said that Bradford's line didn't give him time to throw and he got pressured, but when he had time to throw, he made good passes. Said Feeley didn't look any better, so Bradford might be pushed to the starting position early.
Fair analysis. Next is Tebow.
He gave Tebow a B for his performance. But then, he says, well, let's not lose perspective here. He was playing against guys who will never play in the NFL. His motion still isn't quick and it was evident in the pocket.
Didn't even bother to talk about the positives of his performance, but that's fine. It's true, most of those guys won't play in the NFL. Next was Clausen.
He gave Clausen a B+. Really strange considering statistically Tebow was better and Tebow didn't throw a pick. But, he says Clausen looked really good out there. He was making great throws and looked composed.
Fair analysis. I thought Clausen did look good out there. But, uh, why does Clausen get such a positive review and Tebow gets shit when they both performed well when they were called to the field.
Last but not least, he give McCoy a D. Absolutely deserved. He bombed. But, Kiper says it was just a bad outing. He'll have time.
What the fuck? So, when Tebow does well, we have to keep in mind that he's playing against nobodies, but when McCoy plays them, he has time? Now, I'm not a huge fan of Tebow. I'd like to see him succeed, definitely. But why is Mel Kiper such a dick towards Tebow that he can't even just praise the guy for having the best night out of the four?
ESPN should fire him. He sucks. He predicts the 2001 Patriots would go 0-16, was highly critical of soon to be hall of famer Marshall Faulk, called Mike Williams a Hall-of-Famer, and let's not forget this shining moment:
