I don't either, this has to bite them in the ass at some point. If people were unable to play Madden or FIFA online there would be rioting in the streets. SCEA has avoided backlash from the community for years.

I always take a year or two off between games simply because online doesn't work and there's nothing resembling greatness when it comes to new features. I'm sure others have done this as well. Sony drops the ball every year.

i have not played this since the 2012 game. that was the 1st year for analog pitching. just from the very brief amount of time i spent with it yesterday, the game looks identical to the game from 2 years ago. a few new modes and some redesigned menus aside, it is still the same game.

looks very dated too. looking at it i was like oh fuck

I actually bought the Vita version on a whim yesterday since I'll be waiting for the PS4 version next month. PlayED a quick glance and was actually pleasantly surprised that it's pretty good on a handheld. Only issue I was having was trying to pitch precisely. That takes some time getting used to on the Vita.

It takes me 2-3 minutes for the games to load but I've tried the mode out, something I didn't do once last year. I tried out playing catcher by player locking Mets' d'Arnaud and felt it made the position a possibility this year in RTTS.

Ive played plenty of online games and very rarely do I experience Lag. Last year was the best Online year.

online setting menu's just violently scroll/rotate on their own And I cant change them.
cant make a Diamond dynasty team yet because the designs you pick to edit keep rotating on the canvas too... Ive filed 5 bug reports...haven't played anything but RTTS . this better improve...by day 2 last year I was getting well started...this is crap so far

i found this to be funny. the same reasons they praise the game are the same reasons they frown on the game

i tried the show online live option. i like it because its supposed to be the identical lineups and pitchers for that days game. problem is that it wasnt correct. they have players out of order and have the wrong guys in the lineups. concept is great, but the execution hasnt been so far.

it would also be cool if it tracked your record so you can play along with your real team

One thing about "replaying" games that were played in the past (IRL) is that I questioned was how good could it be, since they don't always have the guys in the game. They said once that it wasn't just based on whether a guy got an AB but had to do with the Union. That in itself is going to limit the feature. As far as having correct lineup with established players, there should be no excuses.

Has anyone had success either starting a franchise online or at least finishing some lag free games?

Would be nice if they had some App that applied to your franchise. Schedule your scouts to go see certain players. The farther away you are from their location, the more time it takes before you can use them. Add the ability to do roster moves, sign FA, basically GM duties on your phone. I would do that all day before playing my games

i would like to know who the genius is at sony who decided to make you import 1 list of music for your jukebox and then a 2nd list for your in game music that you can edit.

in the past it was one list and of that list it could be both jukebox and edited for in game walk ups. fucking retards

of course you can only import 498 song...not 500...but 498

I'm loving the Live play. Reminds me of MLB Today for 2k. I wish we could do quick counts in that mode though.

As for RTTS. I'm a right fielder , I'm getting ready to play my 3rd showcase game and my fielding ability blows.(not my player, but me)

EDIT:

Why is it that no matter what position I play, I ALWAYS get drafted by the Orioles? Its been that way for years.

I'm going the college route to see if it changes anything.


EDIT 2: So, I went through college and played the 3 games again at age 22. I was drafted in the 3rd round by the Whitesox.

OS always takes about a month to put their rosters out.
