Yeah he is man. I've had a couple of outings with him where he nearly blew the game. I remember once the bases were loaded with two outs. It was against the Marlins. Brian Wilson got the guy to ground out and I basically jumped up and started shouting out of excitement of getting out of that jam to end the game.

1. CF Kosuke Fukudome - Chicago Cubs
When you look at Kosuke Fukudome's stats this year, all you can say is wow. He has been magnificent thus far. He is 3rd in the NL with a .341 batting average, 2nd in the NL with doubles (20), and 5th in the Majors with a .551 OBP. He's definitely been a surprise so far in the season.

2. LF Delmon Young - San Francisco Giants
The Giants traded Randy Johnson, Fred Lewis, and Henry Sosa to grab Delmon Young from the Twins. Since that trade, which happened on April 21st, he has been absolutely fantastic. He raised his average nearly 55 points and since then, has also hit for the cycle. He's also hit 13 of his 14 homers in a Giants uniform and has been a major catalyst for the Giants offense.
Statistics: 14 HR (5th in NL), 13 SB (8th in NL), 122 Total Bases (5th in NL)

3. SP John Maine - New York Mets
John Maine has been nothing short of amazing this year. His pitching has catapulted the Mets within a half game lead of the NL East. No one expected him to be the ace of the Mets pitching staff, but that's what he has been, as he has more wins, a better ERA, and more innings pitched than fellow teammate Johan Santana.

Underachievers

1. 1B Justin Morneau - Minnesota Twins
Justin Morneau has been absolutely horrible so far. The 2006 AL MVP and 2008 AL Runner-Up for the MVP Award is hitting a dismal .191 with only 9 homers and 21 runs scored. People have been expecting big things of Morneau considering he's a guy who you would count on to hit for a .285 average with 30 homers and 100 RBI's.

2. SS Derek Jeter - New York Yankees
When you hear Derek Jeter's name, you almost always think of a good contact hitter that can occasionally hit for power. He hasn't lived up to that this season. He is hitting a horrid .230 average with only 14 RBI's batted in. Those aren't Derek Jeter type numbers. It could be possible that his age is taking a toll on him.

3. CF Adam Jones - Baltimore Orioles
This was the season that OF Adam Jones was to emerge as a hitter, but he has not done that, yet. He has not done a good job getting on base or driving in runs. It's not just Jones, but the entire Orioles lineup that has been struggling.
