Red Sox offered Buchholz for Salty or Teagarden in the offseason and they rejected.
And I dont know why every one hypes Lowrie up so much, he will be an average MLB SS at best IMO.

is Mark Grudzielanek still a FA in real life? He is one in the game and Ryan Raburn just isn't getting it done at 2B in place of Placido Polanco who will be injured for close to 2 more months. I'm considering signing him to a deal just to keep me afloat and probably sending Ryan back down to AAA.

What about Andrew Brown? He also still a FA in real life? Aquilino Lopez has blown his last game in a Tigers uniform. :irked:

first off, trading randy johnson is stupid as hell, realistically, the twins would want sanchez in any deal with young

The Nationals basically have some of the worst pitching you'll see (more talent in-game than IRL, but still) and any young pitching you could give up probably would get it done. For the realism factor, keep in mind that the Nats just signed Dunn to a 2yr/$20mil this offseason so they may be a little reluctant to give him up so soon. What team are you, firsttimer?

I'm the Cubs. I know it's not incredibly realistic but I'm already burned out on the Milton Bradley experience. I want a power bat for the corner OF and I need bullpen help.

I've been thinking of pulling a deal with Atlanta for both OF Francour and RP Soriano but not sure wht the Braves would want back. (Little help from a Braves fan like yourself?)

Actually, the Nats probably wouldn't be as reluctant as you think. Dunn's got a 2-year deal and it's doubtful the Nats will get anywhere in those 2 years. If they are still blowing ass, then you could make a deal. Just trade some pitching prospects, etc.

I meant more from the perspective of the Cubs dealing Bradley halfway through his first year. But I see what you're saying from the Nats/Dunn perspective. What level prospects are we talking?

Maybe a B prospect or two? It doesn't have to be a total stud be he's gotta be pretty good, I would think. I don't know enough about the Cubs' prospects to suggest certain guys.

For Francoeur and Soriano..hmm...they would definitely want an OF bat and a power bullpen arm in return, plus probably one more mid-level pitching prospect. Escobar...more of the same...either some middle infield help in return or more pitching/OF help. The only reason that deal will be interesting to pull off is because the Braves value Soriano really highly. Frenchy is good in this game.
