Reds attendance is never off the charts. It's been a bit chilly here this week, and the first weekday series never draws that well.

Looks like somebody was listening to goofball Al Hrabosky during the game today.

Reds set an all time GAB record for Opening Day and the opening three game series.

Goofy Hrabosky had a bunch of other head scratchers today as I had to suffer through the Cards broadcast...

When asked about Chapman's pickoff move...

I would imagine its not very good.

Chapman is known for his plus pickoff move, and led all RP's in pickoffs last season. I would imagine Hrabosky does no research or is incapable of glancing at the stat sheet his spotter provides.

Left handed pitchers take longer to mature. Not just skill wise, but also off the field.

Sometimes umpires get caught up when great pitchers are on the mound. Chapman has gotten a gift strike call on every batter he's faced so far.

Going to the righty to face the right handed hitting Heisey is the right move here.

...except Heisey has reverse splits and cant hit a lefty to save his life. Again, glance at the stat sheet 10 inches below your face. But Matheny obviously missed this info, too.
