The Cy young stuff is incredible, 500 wins? wtf, thts 25 wins for 20 years at least, if someone gets 20 wins a few times thier career now they are deemed one of the best pitchers in baseball.

I would personally classify the American Samoa Soccer team a bunch of retards.

The guy (Archie Thompson) is an A-League level striker at best. It's only a matter of time before someone from the African or Asian Qualifying groups gets to play Laos or Liberia and drops 14 on them.

I'm not a huge soccer fan, just thought about it and 13 seemed nuts for a single game.

im shocked since a Dolphins fan made this thread that Shula's win record was not mentioned. i doubt that will ever be broken.

That completely slipped my mind actually. Yeah, it is pretty unbeatable, although if a coach managed to stick around long enough (like say Alex Ferguson has done in Soccer) it might be gettable.

While I wasn't really aware of the record, 13 goals in one soccer game against anyone other than a group of retards seems close to untouchable in my opinion.

By the way the other guy who shares that record is from the 1885 Scottish Cup when Arbroath beat Bon Accord 36-0. Bon Accord were actually a cricket team who were only playing because of an admin error and because they couldn't afford to pay a forfeit for withdrawing lol.

*Paul Hornung scored 176 points in a 12-game season, for 14.67 points per game. For a current player to break Hornung's record, he'd need 235 points in a season. Tomlinson had 186 points in his 31 TD season, but he would have needed to score 9 additional TDs to break Hornung's record.

*Tommy Morrow of the Raiders intercepted a pass in 8 straight games. Players today don't even get 8 INTs in an entire season.

*Jeff Feagles played in 352 consecutive games.

I spent a few days in Stow-on-the-Wold. Everything in the area was made out of stone. Very old city, but highly enjoyable. We hiked around to a few of the neighboring towns...not very scenic, but somewhat interesting. We spent most nights drinking beer at a place called The Queen's Head in Stow. People would bring their dogs in and you would sit around and chat and pet people's dogs.
