pre patch it was good and i was having fun. post patch....i agree with u.

i think it sucks now. the CPU cant run the ball on AA and Heisman is too jacked up on steroids to enjoy. I like that they tweaked the pursuit angles with the patch, but they also over tweaked somthing to make it so the cpu cant run anymore. And they didnt tweak the most important issue for people which was the DB mirroring.

i mean if AA with sliders 100% in favor of the CPU run game dont work, then how would it work on varsity

No idea. Heard a theory that they actually test the game on Varsity so things are more even that way. etc or something along those lines.

i just read thru that broken run game thread at OS. those fags are posting videos showing the cpu running the ball with huge holes on varsity.

this game can suck my balls. I say that cause i fucking lost. It was an honest loss. I was down 28-20 with 6 mins to go. Got a FG to make it 28-23 with 4 mins left. I thought, i will get the ball back...but no, the fucking cpu ran that final 4 mins off the clock passing and running and milking it at about the 230 mark. fucking pricks even got me on offsides.

this was with Playmakers from OS Varsity sliders. Fucking Varsity and i lost...WTF is that!

oh, and they ran the ball alright. Their starter got hurt in the 1st and there backup was 20 for 151 and 2 TD's
there pussy ass dink and dunk passing game and and there run game had me guessing all dam game. PRICKS!

in all honesty, the game played awesome. no complaints....i am just pissed that the cpu outplayed me

Yeah I'm not playing on varsity. I was in an OD that used those sliders and was tried them out offline to. I was just stunting on the computer. I think the last game I played using those I smacked up Pitt with Miami 38-0.

Varsity? good God

good god is right. at first i was playing kind of laid back. But after about 3 mins into the game i went totally focused thinking there is no way varsisty is the answer and im gonna pound the cpu.

i got a last second TD in the 1st half to make it 17-14 thinking, the cpu cant stop me. Well, they bent, but they didnt break. I moved the ball well in the 2nd half but they held me to 2 FG. as u can see only 1 fumble for me and it happened in the 1st quarter.

they just made the plays when they had too. their final drive to kill that final 4 mins was really amazing. To think that the cpu was able to play smart enough to do it and mix in short passes along the way just enough to keep me off balance.

I'm actually enjoying myself with the whole cpu vs. cpu action. But when it comes to playing the game, you'd have to be retarded to get any competition from the CPU.

The game simply isn't worth the $$$ for cpu vs. cpu action, though.

So, yeah, the game fucking blows. They did fix the interception issue, which is nice.. Too bad the rest of the game sucks. Maybe next year.

It's not even so much sliders that are the problem. The main issue with the CPU comes from their complete inability to execute any sort of gameplan on offense, their love of horrible blitz calls that lead to easy catches / broken coverages and smaller things like terrible clock management. Then if you get deeper into dynasty their awful recruiting strategy and depth chart management hinders them even further.

You're honestly better off adjusting the coaching sliders (specifically the defensive aggressiveness) before the gameplay ones.

i did that. no team aggression is over 35. the difference is minimal at best

Those stats seem kinda high to me. Almost 500 yards of total offense? I can't imagine that playing very sim at that low level.

I've only played the game once tho pre patches. Running game seemed too easy, but slightly tougher and slightly more realistic when compared to Madden. If the game is a defensive slugout now at higher levels with the patches I think I might grab a 360 again and pick it up. Can anyone go into a bit more detail on what has changed? Is it harder to break tackles? Better pursuit/flow by the defense?

If y'all like it that much before the patch...clear your cache, it should delete all patches. The only thing is when you play another game, you will need to update those games.

I'm pretty sure that isn't 500 total yards of offense...It's only 500 total yards..which takes into account return yardage totals.

From what I can tell it looks like OhSt had 384 yards of total offense and Nebraska had 429.
