Ok, i was thinking i amy keep Banks, cause he is not great but if he gets hot its nice to have him.

I was thinking about offering Magloire for Jackson or Salmon. Magloire is only making $1.2M or something like that ands he is unhappy in Miami due to Sean Williams getting most of his minutes.

I could also offer Swift who is a $6M expiring. I have been offered Brendan Haywood and Jerry Stackhouse for Swift.

What would you guys do?

Heat offered me Chris Quinn and Diawara for Jack right before the trade deadline. I want to do it because Jack can't hit 3's despite being a good defender and decent scorer for me off the bench. If Ford can shoot 3's i'd be happy to keep jack, but I'd like to have at least 1 point who can shoot 3's.

The deal seems fair to me as diawara is getting close to no playing time for the heat and will not with me either. he's just in the deal to make salaries match.

Think it's fair? I'm more than likely going to do it unless anyone thinks it's stupid lol

I'll post the exact trade i did a little later, but in my grizzlies franchise, i traded for al jefferson without trading one of my big three. In my defense, jefferson already told the team he will not resign, so it wouldn't make sense for the t'wolves to keep him, this way they get something in return. (he wouldn't resign cuz they had a lousy record)

and jefferson had a one year deal left, so im getting him at the trade deadline, and didnt trade for him, i'd just get him or boozer in FA.

Go after Chris Quinn. It's easily a rip off for you dealing Posey and Brown for like Chris Quinn and like James Jones but if your players are unhappy and your backup PG if injured this is a good deal for you. Jones is fine with a long term contract and Quinn is nothing more THEN a backup and could do well for you as a backup and he'll be happy with the bench warmer role once your current backup PG gets back from injury.

IMO a very fair trade, Grizz get 1.5M expiring, 2 second round draft picks, and a good bench player. T'Wolves get younger and a expiring if let go. Also a second round pick. Heat get a starting SF/6th man in DerMarr, and get Javaris for cheap as he is the 4th string PG on the Grizz. He would be a role player off the bench.Thoughts?

Carl Landry is a great option if he's the kind of guy you are looking for. Great athleticism, shot blocker, rebounder, great defender...also has a nice turnaround fade in the post game. He's playing solid for me in my Rockets chise.
