I was thinking of making a possible deal in my Spurs Franchise and don;t know whether to acquire a C or a SF. Either gonna make a deal for a C, someone like Chris Kaman or a SF, someone like Andre Kirilenko. What do you guys think, and what players should I trade?
*Note: You can refer to my franchise to view the roster.
And of course something realistic.
To be honest, I've always wanted to trade for Andrei Kirilenko in every chise I've had because he's very good and he's a nightmare defensively... and I think for a long time, the Jazz have been wanting to move him because of his "underacheivement" since that superb year he had. His decrease is because Sloan tried to move him to the 2 guard after that year so he could play a bigger lineup. An excellent defender and I still believe he can be a scorer. On the Spurs, he would be a valuable Sixth Man and nice starter if you choose to start him. I'd trade for him.
The problem you will run into, however, is that huge fucking extension he got a while back. If you can find a way to dump $14.33M (I did the math that you would need altogether to at least make the trade legal), I'd do it and give the Jazz Michael Finley. Finley would be a huge boost for them because they finally have a solid shooting guard and you'll have Kirilenko.
I'd suggest Julian Wright, but I did that already and it would appear as if you're copying. Try Jeff Green from OKC, Andres Nocioni... and if the Grizz keep sucking, make a storyline to get Rudy Gay.
Kaman... eh, pass on him. You can do better. Brad Miller, Spencer Hawes from Sacramento are great big men. Hawes is an outstanding sharpshooter from outside as well as a great inside presence and Miller is solid, but just injury prone. Dalembert?
I forgot that they didn't. Let me start all over. I want a pretty good player like Ariza, Ellis, Conley, Sessions or somebody else. What do you think I can get with Baron, Camby and Ricky Davis?
Baron, Camby, and Ricky Davis? Goddamn... trade Baron to me!
B-Diddy and Camby have HUGE contracts. Camby may be easier to get rid of because he's at $8M, but getting rid of Baron Davis... you're going to need a package.
If you really want to get rid of B-Diddy, you better get a point guard who is good with a half court offense. Here's an interesting one. Trade Baron Davis to Atlanta for Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams/Maurice Evans. If you trade for Bibby and Williams, you get two one-year contracts and can really improve in the off-season if you decide they're not worth it or restructure their contracts.
