I could see that happening, in that case would you have RJ come off the bench? I like the thought of Jefferson at the three, starting Griffin, and putting Thornton as Sixth Man.

Great deal for both teams. It's actually a deal the Clippers should do in RL imo.

Davis/Gordon/Jefferson/Griffin/Camby
Then my bench would be this:
Taylor/McCants/Thornton/Greene/Kaman

Makes no sense for the Kings. Bobby Jackson is a good enough back-up so Mike James is no use and they have to give up to prospects. Then they dont have alot of depth at the SG/SF behind Nocioni and K-Mart

I get rid of Lamar Odom, fill my PG spot and can resign Trevor Ariza.

The Bulls have Derrick Rose as the future, so they get rid of his contract. They also get a versatile SF/PF Lamar Odom that expires but Lamar can be thier starting SF and play some PF when needed, which they need.

I could see it happening, without Salmon. Odom would definitely start for them, but at the 4, like he did for the Lakers a season ago. Well, they might give up Salmons but I don't think so.....he's pretty talented.

Thoughts? Instead of going for Billups, i get a younger Bibby, whose coming off the books this year, and i get a dynamic player in smith to help ease off Melo. Personally, i know i'm going to do this, but on a scale of 1 to 10, how realistic is this? I dont give a shit about the draft pick BTW since i dont update the prospects.

Yeah, you're team definitely gets better but the Hawks get shafted hard. The only way it would make sense if they were basically scrapping everything and in full fledged rebuilding mode.

Otherwise, no way in hell.

And even if they were in rebuilding mode, they wouldn't give up Bibby's 14 mill expiring imo. Or they would make sure to get something very much worth it in return. A high 1st round draft pick is hardly worth it.
