It's just not having a high basketball IQ. You have to realize in that situation that you are not going to get a fucking charge called against Lebron James with 20 seconds left in an NBA Finals game AT MID COURT. What was going through his head that he honestly thought that would work. You lock down, play good D but DONT FOUL. My biggest pet peeve in basketball is when players foul when they shouldnt.

I think Westbrook is a very, very good player, arguably in the top 3 for PGs in the league, which is a very deep position. That being said, I think he would better suit the Thunder by getting his offense started then trying to get his points, as opposed to his current style of my turn for 3 possessions, then your turn for 3 possessions, repeat. There are plenty of PGs in this league who can put up his point totals if they had as many offensive threats around them, but they know to get the offense going first, then get their own stats.

Westbrook is NOT a top 3 point guard. He's a 2 guard in a point guards body. This situation actually reminds me of KG - Marbury back in the day. I love Westbrooks ability, but I just feel he doesn't make the right decisions and doesn't make anyone else better. A point guard needs to make the other players better and help them GET OFF.
