Green and Williams are both monsters off the bench. Seems like you have all these guys playing styles on lock down. Wouldn't kill you to give a start a rest every now and then because you have such a strong bench.

That's something to consider. Sheed was tired and had that damn gatorade bottle by his name for a lot of this last game. A day of rest shouldn't hurt. Especially coming up on a game with a team like the Thunder.

Nice record so far. I like how it is a realistic record, you have made it to where it isn't ridiculous where you are winning every game by 30 points.

That 1st quarter was fuckinggggggg stupid. Amare probably dunked on me like 6-7 times in this game. Nash schooled the shit out of me. Just getting to the basket on some occasions like it was nothing. Shaq had 4 blocks by the end of the 1st quarter I swear. And yeah, typical Suns. Lots of fast break buckets as well. I'm not mad though. It was insane how the momentum shifted in the 2nd and 3rd quarters though. Just couldn't finish the job in the 4th.

I think he traded him for Ricky D and DeAndre Jordan... Can't remember though, it was about 80 pages ago, lol.

lol no. Ricky Davis/Chris Kaman trade happened at beginning of last season and Jordan was acquired from Detroit in the Sheed trade recently. I don't remember how Detroit got Jordan at this point though.

I sent T.J. Ford and Roy Hibbert to the Warriors in exchange for Jamal Crawford and Anthony Randolph. Wanted a more athletic big man and Sean moved over to the backup center position where he can do more than just hold his own.

Sheed To Get Day Off; Randolph To Start Against Thunder

Rasheed Wallace had the luxury of facing off against the big man tandem of the Phoenix Suns in Shaq and Amare in the Pacers last game against the Suns. Despite a solid 17 point and 8 rebound performance, Sheed showed serious signs of fatigue as the game progressed.

Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien has told reporters that he will allow Anthony Randolph to get the start in Rasheed's place for the Pacers upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Rasheed hit the ground running once he became a Pacer," explained O' Brien. "Needless to say, we've been on a tear since he joined the team. He's more than welcome to take a day off. Either way, when we told Anthony he'd get the start, his eyes lit up. The kid is ready to go."​

Rusty Davis Struggling To Find Groove

It was only 11 games into the 2008/2009 season, only 3 of those 11 as a Pacer before Ricky Davis' season was cut short by a torn acl that would sideline him for all of last season. In the 3 games Ricky played for Indiana before the injury, he appeared energized by the trade out of Los Angeles, averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists a game.

31 games into this season though, Davis' numbers are down across the board. Now noone is expecting Ricky to average 17 a game when you have a Danny Granger and Jamal Crawford alongside you in the starting lineup, but what has Pacers GM Larry Bird beginning to question whether or not Ricky will return to his pre-injury form is his dismal shooting percentages. So far this season, Davis is shooting just over 40% from the field and 32% from beyond the arch. A big dip from the 47% from the field and 42% from beyond the arch a season ago.

"I always try to come out and play well, but sometimes you do get rusty and I try not to get down on myself because we're still winning," Davis said. "I didn't get a chance to play a lot this summer because of the injury but I'm trying to play now."

Davis' shot this season just hasn't looked smooth and he seems out of sync.

"I don't think it's the mechanics of his shot that are to blame though," explained Pacers GM Larry Bird. "I just think Ricky was used to the system he was brought into a season ago. We ran a lot more back then (with T.J. Ford running the point) compared to now and I think he was expecting to jump back into the same system. This isn't the same team he joined a year ago and he's having a hard time adjusting and finding his shot because of this."

If Ricky doesn't manage to "get his groove back" soon, we could see sophomore guard Brandon Rush finding his way onto the Pacers starting lineup.

Sources out of the Pacers organization have also reported that Bird has been quietly shopping Davis to a number of teams around the league.​
