Please be the return of something similar to the old Madden passing cone that KG thought up months ago.

My own take on passing..

Although EA/Madden abandoned the throwing cone I think that could have evolved into a more realistic passing system. Imagine you line up pre-snap, and are auto looking at your primary (with the cone) or at the line you can choose who you want to focus on first. After snap, you cycle through your targets by pressing their normal buttons, causing your cone to snap over to them, very simple yes? Then you have like LT or RT or whatever as the "throw" button. This eliminates the goofy RS mechanic that didn't work, but keeps the benefit of having "QB vision".

Bringing that back would eliminate the need for LB super jumps because the unrealistic ability to distribute the ball anywhere, instantly, would no longer be present.

Just my 2 cents on passing.

Couldn't care less for mascots and team run-outs, but the enhanced audio and new trophy presentations should give more life to rivalry and championship games. Excited to see the rest of the details on this.

I like the sound of this. Hopefully this means a couple of things...Quarterbacks now have arc on the ball (instead of either bullet pass or lob), super LB are gone, physic DB's are non-existent, WRs attack the ball, CPU doesn't audible with your audibles (kinda ruins the point of even audibling), pre-snap alignments are corrected (LB on man coverage for the WR on the other side of the field). Maybe even added the Madden throw ratings (deep ball accuracy, medium, short, etc).

Hoping here that the mid-game updates include a score ticker for other games going on. Another analyst I like, even if Nessler and Herbstreit are still in the game, but we're promised enhanced commentary. Scouting players sounds cool, but recruiting is tedious as it is. I'm assuming dynamic grades means that a recruits rating looks different for everybody, and maybe even a potential rating (would love to see some recruits be busts). Interested to see what all of this means and what they changed to Coaching Carousal and Custom Conferences.

Seems a lot like the mode from the NBA 2K basketball game. Not sure how much I will play it, but there could be a chance historic teams are in the game. Hmmm...

Why did they bring this game mode back? At least it's not the first updates to the game. This is the second game for the lead director of Road to Glory, so his vision for this mode should be coming to life in this game. Probably will not even touch it, though.

Doesn't mean it was a bad idea. It's time for it to come back in some respects. The idea KG laid out is tremendous IMO

His Twitter account is gone and so is his NCAA blog at the EA website. Last year at EA's corporate website there was a job posting for Executive Producer for a football title at their Orlando office. I'll see if I can relocate it.
