Knile Davis out for the entire 2011 season. You wouldn't know it from all the attention Lattimore/Dyer got, but he led the SEC in rushing last year. Big blow for Arkansas.

I was just about to post this. Huge loss for them, Knile was amazing down the stretch last year. I'm sure they'll find a fill in but this puts a ton of pressure on Wilson.

Broderick Green, the backup HB, went down in the Spring with an ACL tear. The depth chart is very thin.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Senior running back Stephfon Green, the backup to Evan Royster, Penn State's career rushing leader, for the last three seasons, is no longer with the team, coach Joe Paterno said Tuesday.

"Stephfon's had some problems," Paterno said, "and I think right now for the benefit of everybody, especially the good of the football team, it might be better if he backs away right now."

The 5-foot-10, 198-pound Green rushed for 1,085 career yards and also was adept at catching passes and returning kickoffs. But last year, with the development of freshman Silas Redd, Green's statistics dropped, and he didn't have a single carry in the final two games against Michigan State and Florida.

I doubt Pryor would be seeing much of any action this season anyway given how late he's going to join a team. Goodell could have easily made him sit out the year and wait for the 2012 draft from what I understand. The suspension is not that big of a deal IMO.

He failed a drug test. Sucks, but Silas Redd will make us miss Green a lot less, not to mention Brandon Beachum will spell Redd better than what Green did.

Although not official yet, Robert Bolden is the starter for the opener against Indiana State. Thank the Lord.

just heard the team voted him to get back on the team...still up to joe..and even if he comes back you know how stubborn the old fuck is so he would just bury Green behind redd and Beachum...

It's a big deal because it has absolutely zero to do with the NFL.
 
Garrad wins the starting job in Jacksonville. Hopefully he keeps it all year so Gabbert can soak up as much as he can.
