thats news to me....I've looked around but haven't seen a site yet say they have paid back in full. But I'm just saying that a state school isn't going to let $5-8 million stop them from paying off a coach, even if it means getting private pockets paying for it. A&M would have to match the supposedly $4 million/year contract ASU offered. Some are saying it's his agent putting out this #, so other schools bump up their offers (and it will work).

If A&M does want Sumlin, they won't have to pay the crazy $4 million/year that was floating around....ASU has said they are out of the Sumlin race and looking elsewhere.

Hal Mumme gives his opinion on Craig James and Adam James.

Craig James is an (expletive), and everybody in Texas knows it. His son's an (expletive), and you can quote me. I was at New Mexico State, and we turned (Adam) down. Nobody would give that guy a scholarship except Mike Leach.

To be clear, Mumme, wasn't attacking Leach's decision, as the two coaches are very close, he was basically saying that the James family was punching a gift horse in the mouth.

I think the fact that Adam James was practically run from Texas Tech's baseball team by his own teammates shows you what kind of kid he is.
