IamMedellin Reviews NFS:Most Wanted
eh, once again It's the Modern Day Sam Rothstein, aka Max Payne's favorite Dealer, aka Yung Peter Parker...The infamous IamMedellin n Im here with my thoughts on Criterion's latest offering, Thats right ..we're gonna race like its 2005, it's Need For Speed: MostWanted n the inFamous has a copy. yo Ima keep it short n sweet...I spent a whole night with this game, Once you start racing around the city n finding new cars around the way you get real into it...At least I did. All the cars are out there from the start...u just gotta find them, its not even hard as they got giant motherfukin manufacturing logo's right above them...I mean even if ur running from Twigg n his fellow patrol fairies, youre still gonna notice a giant Porche logo out in the industrial area, double back n cop that shit. I was havin a real good time running from the cops, earning performance parts after races, n searching the town for new rides..now after all that you may think it's all roses with this one, 5 outta 5 Med's right? Nah, it aint without its flaws. Now all the cars are available from the start right...within the 1st hour I found an F-150, 2 Porshes, a viper, n what looks like a blista compact from Vice City...Now while I luv me some Vice city, no way i was gonna pass on making time with the Porche's, Now while the new system is fun, after unlocking my 20th car at the 4th hour I was missing that sense of accomplishment that I used to get from unlocking cars by progressing in the game. Aside from that My other gripe was....well...this fukin city is dead, I mean it's pretty and varied n there's enough traffic too keep it interesting...no civilians, no real variety in the traffic vehicles...it...just seems like they had a list of locals...city,highway,industrial,beach... n they was done.
Now This may only be an issue with the XBOX 360 version, but the framerate does drop at times. It's not a game breaker by any means n it's not gonna ruin your race..but it is noticable..It happened in both of my races with the Most Wanted list and a few races with the higher end cars like the Nissan GT-R Egoist, not sure if it's any better with the PS3 version but I havent heard of any issues so far. Next thing..n this annoyed me more than anything else...u gotta customize ur car every time out, as soon as you switch to another one of your cars it automatically goes back to stock, u gotta re-equip ur car with upgrades every time u switch cars and if u wanna make ur car look like a prop car from the fast n the furious, then ur shit outta luck. No Body kits, no Custom Paint Jobs, No Rims, No Decals...some of you may not care, but that was a big draw with the Original Most Wanted/Underground series.
If you got the PS3 version n customization aint a big deal for you; give it an extra point...But Ima give Most Wanted a
