Every interview that is conducted in training camp is on a practice field, every clip NFL Live runs for the next 2-3 months is from the practice field. Plus thousands of fans go to the training camp practices every day.

It doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but we are talking about a lot of visibility and potentially a lot of money. This is bad news because it could open the door for further encroachment in the future.

Actually it might hurt brand equity for certain teams. plus with how little room there already is on uniforms for things like stripes and numbers these days, when sleeves are slowly being eaten by shoulderpads and arm pits, where are you planning on putting these ads?

Can you imagine Joe Montana rolling right and throwing to Dwight Clark for "The Catch" if both of them had a big CHEERIOS sign across their backs?

Did you not read the post in between the OP and the one you quoted? I said I was worried about this being a slippery slope that could lead to more advertising in the future. Adembrowski was saying it didn't matter one way or another, and that it could be used for games too, just like it is for other sports, and he wouldn't care.

So, um, I was presenting a hypothetical based on the hypothetical that they'd be for GAMES too. Thanks for insinuating I didn't read the very article I posted a link for, and correctly titled in my thread.

Games are already being sponsored by products, so how would it make sense for the sponser to sponser the game, yet have there opponets have an ad on their jersey? Doesn't make sense.

ESPN doesn't film rookies in their first day at mini-camp? Or new coaches? NFL Live doesn't show post-practice interviews, with practice clips spliced in? Are you telling me you don't recall ever seeing practice uniforms on national tv? Because I'm pretty sure they are on ESPN 5 days a week during the season.
