Im a Jet fan and im tired of hearing broadway Joe, honestly he was a mediocre QB who won the the only superbowl of our franchise. He shouldnt be calling out any players.

Also everyone cant wait to jump on the Jets after they lose a game because they been talking all offseason. so in that case i hope they talk more and come out on the field and play like they talk instead of all these dinks and dunks in the offense, Let the fucker loose.

namath was an elite QB back then. his knees prevented him from having the long term success that he could have had. And he picked a part the colts defense in SB3 with his arm and more importantly, his play calling.

I like the Jets, i always have because they are an underdog type of team in NY. I like Ryan too, but the Jets are loud mouths now who talk alot of shit and have done nothing to back it up. There are excellent teams who have done it for years who dont make a peep. The Jets act like they are one of those teams and they turn off alot of people with those antics.

you got to earn respect, u cant just demand it. When they lose people are going to pounce on them and they deserve it cause they asked for it

Well I dislike the Jets as much as the next guy but they are only 0-1 and not 0-6. Its a long season.....lets see how they look mid season. Getting Holmes back will be a big boost. I am not sold on Greene at all. The guy made a big run the playoffs b/c Cromartie decided not to tackle him and all of a sudden he is the next Bo Jackson.....cmon!

I just WISH the Giants played them this year!!

Cromartie is a physical specimen but was equipped with small brain. He needs excellent coaches other wise he will continue to make costly errors on the field.

Watching him on Hard Knocks....he is a beast but his is inconsistent and he is not focuses every play. If you lack focus for 1 sec in the NFL.....your in trouble.

Lets be real here.....the Jets played the Ravens who some consider a top team in the league and only lost by one point. You'd better hope they beat the Pats Sunday. It's pretty hard for a team as hyped as they are to live up to expectations when they start 0-2...with both games being at home.

But Sanchez didn't really produce against a defense that was missing Ed Reed and Dominique Foxworth. I don't remember too well, was the playcalling too conservative or did Sanchez struggle or what happened?

I still like the Jets but if they do lose to the Patriots the doubts will probably grow exponentially but the media.

I agree. But it doesn't make them any dumber for painting a bullseye on their chests and boasting all off-season about how they are the Miami Heat and what not. Now every team they face is going to bring it as hard as they can and want to beat them even more. Nothing good can come out of doing something like that.

I'm not the hugest Broadway Joe fan, but I liked what I saw when I was watching the 69 Jets spot on America's Team. In any case, Braylon Edwards is in no position to carry his jockstrap at this point, and the brother needs to be mindful of that. And Joe's fucking right - that nigga drops as much as he catches. It's fucking ridiculous. A receiver that can't catch with a job in the NFL. Some things I'll never understand.

In my opinion, Broadway Joe's opinion is as legitimate as any of the other guys who said anything.

The Jets really aren't my team, so I don't need to hope on anything. However, I do know Brady has struggled against the Jets/Ravens pressure before, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it again. Having said that though I can see the Pats still being able to score around 14-17 points and I'm not sure the Jets' offense can put up enough points to win.

The brilliance of the Ravens is that as great as Ed Reed is the system still works without him because Baltimore puts a lot of pressure on the offensive line and QB to properly make reads. Ed Reed as with most safeties primary role is to simply cover the top side of the defense; however the Jets offense wasn't really even attempting anything beyond 10 yards down the field anyways. Foxworth really hasn't done anything to warrant being brought up.

The Jets are trying to take the old Ravens motto of the defense will keep the scoring down and all the offense has to do is play on a short field, don't turn the ball over, be conservative and score about 14ppg. This is the game plan Ryan and the coaches used with the Ravens and it produced a Superbowl; however, I'm not sure the Jets defense is as good, discipline or as dominant as those Ravens defenses to make it work.

I think the Jets fell into the trap of believing they're own hype, but this comes with the territory of having a successful show, people picking them to go to the Superbowl and a coach that preaches confidence and swagger. The Jets are a good team with or without a good offense though, so I wouldn't expect them to keep losing or be concerned that teams are out to get them. Sanchez is only in his second year and will get better, because he has the tools and has shown the ability to play well. I'm just saying people should put the Jets loss in perspective because the team is legit.
