Titans started their season off with a :facepalm: but real good defensive play helped win it. Not too sure about Locker but he can only improve, right?

On Jason Garrets side of the ball same ol shit and it will once again keep us from a playoff run.

On the defensive side a holy shit. Granted the giants backs played like shit and the front 4 disappeared at times..but the back 7 played better than they have in years. I havent seen that type of ball aggression since 92.

When's the last time a young QB did well in his first start against a Dick LeBeau defense (who was also the top ranked D the last two years, no less)? Locker was fine.

Garrett isn't calling the plays. That is Callahan now.

I thought we had a solid run game.
Our offensive line, for the most part, played really well and gave Romo loads of time in the pocket.
Defense. Wow. We averaged 1 turnover per game last year and had SIX in this game.
Murray busted his ass not only in the run game was but superb in the passing game and was phenomenal with his hustle to save the pick 6.

The Packers have serious issues in the secondary, but Kaepernick looked unstoppable when the niners came out in 5 wide.

I'd say he's on the fringe. There's no question he is top 10 in my mind.

Not to downplay what Kaepernick did but any QB in this league can make Jarrett Bush look horrible.

And what exactly has Ryan done to make him so much better?

Kaep sliced through the packers D with ease. I don't care if they aren't good, he made them look worse then they are with 2 receivers.

His arm strength, accuracy, mechanics, footwork, release, and decision making were top 5 yesterday.

Obviously, the position is all about consistency. But he is well on his way to becoming a top 5 qb if isn't already.

Play calling was the only thing better. But the same issues plague them under Garrett. It's still his playbook, philosophy and system.
They had 6 extra chances and did nothing with nearly all of them. It took a defensive TD to win the game. That offense can't be carried like that or there will be some seriously annoying losses this season.

Terrelle Pryor looked pretty darn good yesterday. And I can't wait to see DJ Hayden get starter snaps but it looks like Jenkins and Porter are locked in as starters.

as all coaches have said...with the new rules its not a QB driven league any more. IE you don't have to be that good to succeed at QB. So its really hard to tell how good is good when everyone can throw for 300 yards without even trying. Kaep is a good young athlete and might be a Randle Cunningham type...who knows ? but he still doesn't make progressions well and focused on Boldin too much. He cant do that all year and all running QBs historically get hit in traffic far too often and its still pocket passers at the end of the day when all is said and done who win the ultimate prize year after year.

Eli Manning threw for 450 yards n 4 TDs in a loss at 27 for 42....what does it all mean yet ?

15 games left, Kaeps a good jock and all but lets see a larger body of QB work before any assumptions made yet.

The game is over, and it's done. But I can't help but think Burnett and Hayward are enough of difference makers to make up a 6 point margin. Still can't believe our O-line only gave up, what was it 2 or 3 sacks?
