The correct answer is: the Saints are having a letdown on the road after a huge win, the Rams are having a bounce back as a home dog after a poor performance and back to back divisional losses.

Also goes to show that you can win on any given Sunday as long as you can get to the quarterback.

i dont understand the saints at all. how you can lose this game when winning it gives you a playoff spot. now, they risk not making the post season at all with a loss next week vs the panthers

This is game of year for the Rams. Embraced their strength and got to the quarterback, took advantage of some sloppy stuff from Brees, and took a huge momentum swinging gamble on a surprise onside kick which worked out for them. Rams came into this game with their professional integrity on the line; Saints came into this game thinking about their win last week and their crucial game next week.

Every quarterback in the NFL throws INTs. Throwing 29 TD and only 9 INTs is something only the best can do. If the Cowboys defence or the person calling plays for that matter were at least somewhat competent then Romo wouldn't be put in a position to "fail" every week.

so we should blame defense or offensive play calling/coaching for the actual INTs in clutch situations??
do we credit play calling/coaching or defense for guys like Montana, Peyton Manning, Elway, etc...?? for game winning drives......

he is doing his job very effectively. The defense is not=end of story

Except all of his INT's come with the game on the line. Thats the difference, the turnovers he does make are the ones that lose them the game when they needed a play. Elite QBs make those plays most of the time, but not Romo. He's a good part of the reason they're not in the playoffs every year.

He had a 5 point lead and threw INT's on the following 2 series...
