Honestly yes, a little. Romo's a very good quarterback overall, but he's just not a particularly good finisher. If you aren't a mess of a team from boardroom to sideline you can win with a quarterback like that. The Dallas defence is last in the NFL in yards per game and play, and 27th on 3rd downs, and anyone who doesn't put the majority of the blame on a unit that just made Matt Flynn look like Aaron Rodgers pretty much goes on the derp list by default. As I say, the offence consistently puts the team in a position to win, and the team consistently puts Romo in a position to lose.

Romo's picks were awful, but what the hell was up with the play-calling in the 2nd half? Garrett/Callahan are horrible.

I don't blame Romo nor Callahan one bit. Two weeks in a row the running game is mauling opponents and we have a lead...Only for the running game to be abandoned. It's appaling. Two drives each time with a lead in the final minutes ..avg 7.5 ypc and they call nothing but passes. Romo makes a clutch play on 3 and 12 putting them in position to put away the game. And they keep calling pass plays.
It's holy shit bad. As in I'm rooting for nothing but losses so Jerry has no choice but to fire the nepotism bandit.
I've never seen so much wasted talent and missed opportunities and a guy avoid as much blame as Garrett. It's years of this already.
The fact that fuckface has ever been in the same room with the word offensive genius is laughable. Wade Phillips was almost set on fire because or this jackass and he won't lose his job until the bolts holding that giant screen rust , snap and drop that thing on Jerry's head.

This. Romo gets no pass from me for those interceptions. They happen time and time again and it shouldn't. But for fucks sake, he should never be in that situation. The offense 1) shouldn't have to score 40+ every week to win a game and 2) should run the god damn ball, especially when Murray is averaging 7 yards a pop. Murray ended with something like 18 rushes for 137 yards and Romo had 52 pass attempts. That playcalling is god awful and Garrett and Kiffen should be fired on the spot.

I don't care if we are fielding 11 street guys. At some point the defense has to stop Matt fucking Flyn n from looking like a god.

Humble is once again awful here. Putting the loss squarely on Romo when not even mentioning the rest of the game, playcalling, defense, etc.

Except all of his INT's come with the game on the line. Thats the difference, the turnovers he does make are the ones that lose them the game when they needed a play. Elite QBs make those plays most of the time, but not Romo. He's a good part of the reason they're not in the playoffs every year.

He had a 5 point lead and threw INT's on the following 2 series...

That's not true at all. He has been the reason Dallas has even been in a situation to make the playoffs.

He's not elite. I once thought he could be but he makes to many bonehead mistakes to be elite. But to say he is a big reason Dallas hasn't made the playoffs is way off base.

Reasons Dallas doesn't make the playoffs:
1)Awful GM/Owner
2)Dreadful, dreadful coaching
3)A defense that will allow any team to come back into the game and refuse to close someone out
4)A non-existent run game (save for this year but we don't run it anyways)
5)A non-existent OL (save for this year, they are actually playing really well)
6)Romo

Again, before someone comes in claiming I'm a homer yada yada. Romo is at fault. He makes too many dumb decisions. He has a lot of talent but can't finish. But he is FAR from Dallas' biggest problem and even farther from the reason Dallas hasn't made the playoffs.

Kiffin is already coming back. Jerry was making excuses after the game yesterday for the defense. The excuses ranged from injuries (even though Ryan faced the same thing) to a faulty headset in the 2nd half. :harbaugh:

Until Jerry Jones sells the Cowboys, they will be damned to repeat the mistakes of the past. He simultaneously one of the best owners and worst GM's in the NFL.

He fired Rob Ryan last year for being too aggressive on defense and then calls for his new guys to be more aggressive. He won't fire them this season because it will draw more attention to the stupid move he made earlier this year to try and detract attention away from the real coaching weakness in Jason Garret.
