The passing is terrible.

The hockey card set I got was golden. Eberle, Hall, Seguin, Kadri, Karlsson, Doughty, Rask, etc

Where are the Stanley Cup patches..

Can't remember if I saw them, they are in the game tho. They have playoff styled overlays which just puts the Cup behind the player face photo.

Nice to see the CPU grow a brain when they're carrying the puck down ice and I take my defenseman out to make a hit they deke out of the way, last year they just let themselves get crushed haha

Oh man, I saw the AI pull the DIRTIEST trick on me.

2 on 1 for the CPU, I dive into the passing lane and the puck carrier pulls the puck back and finds a lane to pass it across.....but Luongo gets over quick enough. So the guy who got the pass, passed it back into the top of the crease where the first guy was for an easy tap in....cause I'm still getting off the ice.

It was quite brilliant for the CPU to pull it off and punish me for hitting the ice.

Have a shot right in front... its going in 99% of the time.

Shot from the point with no one in front of you, top cheese and its going in.

I hope this is the ai being dumb and not the normal goalies.

Did I mention the passing is gay as hell.

Had two broken sticks finally.

It's nice to have regular shots beat the goalie, but these mother fuckers could stop a beachball.

WOW went into OT in BFTC and the game-winning goal for CHI was disallowed for some reason, it went off of Keith's skate as he was driving the net and went up and over Leighton right under the crossbar....guess the ref called it a kick even though it clearly wasn't

EDIT: after get knocked down Giroux still tried to play the puck from his back which was nice, except the puck wasn't anywhere close haha. You REALLY can't squeak by people along the boards this year, last year you would bounce off them and keep going, here you get crunched and lose the puck.

The controller select was greyed out so I couldn't do it, unless player lock has moved to somewhere else?

Cross crease is still there, I got it down to a science already. The move where you come out of a corner and go opposite top shelf still works almost everytime.

You don't keep the same team though. Players retire and you have to pick new ones. Unless you can save up a ton of cards that boost your player to 99, I doubt this will happen. Not saying you won't have a stacked team, but you will need to replace players in the game. Plus as it looks, certain players react better to boost. Are you going to spend points boosting Crosby's shot power, or are you going to put it on Hall? And with seasons last the month then playoffs, I doubt you'll see total 99 teams.

I just hope when a player "retires" from your team that he isn't gone for the entire game of NHL11 but rather just that season.

as soon as you retire a player u can use his card again. so either u might have one on backup, or can get from booster pack. pretty sure you can still get the same player from a pack if they are already on your team, you just cant have 2 of the same player in ur lineup.

I've been trollin the EA forums since it was announced.

It's lame as shit, especially when the Tutorial for it opens with the line "Here are your cards and where you will spend most of your time in this mode"
