Your team will always be dumb. But as for them taking it away, well don't go near them. That isn't the CPU being fucked, that's just something you don't do.

The pinning against the boards thing has happened since they brought it in. Defence will not pick up a puck and skate with it, they always pin. Don't know why, but they do.
 
Get another provider. I wouldn't put up with that shit. And if your neg rep in my post was the "our other friend being a dick" I wasn't talking of you since you have a legit reason. It is for the other idiot playing Tiger Woods 12, and saying he'll wait for NHL13, despite playing more games in NHL11 then me and leaf combined.
 
Last night we basically came to the conclusion that you need to have a defencemen on the point. The computer AI is just to stupid to let them control both guys. The AI cost us wins for sure last night. So many missed passes, or just complete WTF moments. Things like someone would be wide open heading down ice, and the computer would throw the puck in the corner, or pass it backwards to the AI defence. And even with someone on the point, he has to battle with the AI who for some reason always wants to come over and play the same spot the human player is in.


Also amazed me at how many people have 160-200 points already in EASHL, and like 110 games. I had about 30 points in the 5-6 hours on day one, and since then I'd say we have played about 2 hours a night, and I'm just under 800 points. These guys have double that already. It is almost like the legend card is kind of worthless now. It use to be a bigger deal in NHL9-10, but now, 150 games is like maybe a solid month of work. I'm close to 40 games, so basically at this pace, I'l have it done within 3 weeks.

CPU is bad. So bad. Our team has 3 FWDs, 1 D and a goalie. but even we need another D because 1 cpu is too many. CPU just rips pointless shots and causes stupid turnovers.
 
Letting 360 guys know, a league is starting, and if interested send me a list of 5 teams today so I can get things moving.
 
Was thinking today how we use to easily fill a 16 person league for NHL, and had tons of people in EASHL.

Also seeing that right now, I just can't get into playing offline stuff. Be a Pro just isn't appealing to me like it was before the game. Action tracker is good and all, but fuck, it seems like I am back out on the ice a minute after I get into the bench and I'm perfectly healed up and ready to go.
 
I'm 7 games into season mode of NHL 12 so far. Enjoying it a lot. Have only played one online game so far, vs. PP on the PS3 season ticket thing. I bought it for the 360 because the 360 is simply a better system for EA Sports games and they can be installed to the hard drive.
I have never played team play online once.
 
They completely removed the hip check from OTP/EASHL. It can still be used in VS but they are waiting on feedback to see what they should do about the hipcheck in the next patch.

List of Changes
V1.01 (effects all modes, except offline with V1.00)
-Small adjustment to goalie hug post to reduce vulnerability to far side goals coming around the net
-Small adjustment to guard the near post on shots
-Increase skating friction while doing protect puck (pretty small amount)
-Reduce stick lift penalties (hitting the hands is not a penalty now)


OTP Specific Changes:
-Disable hip checks (only in OTP/EASHL for now, but want input on this before we change it for Versus as well) The change makes hip check ineffective, but a proper fix will come in our 2nd patch

-Call interference on medium hits more strictly (0.4 to 1.0 – NOTE: not necessarily 100% because other factors are involved)
-Make poke check radius bigger (scale from 1.0 to 1.1)
 
Good thing on the hip check. Sucks that it is totally gone because there is a time and a place for it, but basically everyone was running around hipping the fuck out of everyone.

Also good on the post thing, because the come around the net, far post thing was to easy.
 
Thank God. Now I can get back to playing. I gave up for a few days cause I was getting pissed and I know they're pretty on the ball with getting tuners out.
