I said this about the skating before, that come a month or two later, no one is going to be "OMG skating is so fucking awesome". It just isn't really that ground breaking IMO. Sure it is a step forward, as it finally makes skating real (caught flat footed and all) but it is the rest of the game that needed some work. Goalies seemed like they were done really well, and AI as well. I'm still on the fence on buying this or not. It is just odd not having the NHL game the day of.

I had some lag in the one OTP game I played on PSN during season ticket, which was expected as OTP always lags around launch. 1v1 was smooth as fine ass.
Last night played a couple OTP on XBL, very very small amount of lag. Since I was goalie, where it's pretty damn important, I had no complaints.
I dunno why you're not into it, but this game shits all over Madden.
