Tired of me being so negative? Well, I'm going to list my personal favorite films from 2000-2009, as we close out another decade. I am not saying these are the best films of the decade, but my personal favorites. I know for a fact, that my personal favorite movie of the decade, will get it's share of ''wtf,'' but I can't help it, I fucking love the movie.

This is a top 15, by the way.

I'll kick it off with #15 in a few moments.​

How often do we get a very good western these days? So, when you run into movies like ''Unforgiven'' and ''3:10 To Yuma,'' you have to cherish the moment, because who knows when we'll get another. ''Ghost World'' is probably more worthy of making my list, but like I said, we don't get a good western very often. I'm not taking anything away from ''Ghost World,'' because I fucking loved it.

I actually saw this one with my father, who throughout the entire film, kept saying how bad it was, how he couldn't watch anymore - yet, he didn't move until the credits started to roll. That was my fathers way of saying, he really enjoyed it, because he rarely bothered with movies. It's also rare that a movie keeps me guessing until the very end..... or is it the very beginning?

''Before Sunrise'' is also one of my personal favorites, so imagine my surprise when I saw this in the video store (I had no idea a sequel was even being made.) At the same time, you have to worry about how bad they're going to rip the story to shreds, because how often do sequels live up to the original? In this case, however, it surpasses the original. But I'm sure ''Alvin & The Chipmunks - The Squeakuel'' will do the same for that series.

I've been a Leo fan since ''This Boy's Life,'' who at such a young age, gave Deniro a run for his money. I knew from that moment, the kid had many bright moments ahead - and this is one of them.

Great movies so far, Nuk. Looking forward to the rest.

3:10 to Yuma is so underrated, I saw that in the movies when it came out freshman year and it blew me away, I'm not a fan of westerns really at all, either. (wish I could have thanked you twice for the Ghost World reference)

No homo on the thanks for Before Sunset, the first and the second are Ethan Hawke's #1 and #2 best movies he's ever been in (Training Day and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead withheld, of course)

Anyone else find it hilarious that Nuk couldn't even come up with a top 10 of 2009 so he did an entire decade?

This is one of those rare situations, where one single performance carried a movie which wouldn't even be in my top 50 of the decade, if not for Daniel Day Lewis.. That's just how fucking strong his performance is. I really wasn't all that impressed with the film itself, or the supporting cast - and I didn't mind one damn bit.
