Nuk's NFL ''Lulz Player/Coach of the Week.''

Game 2 - 50 yards - Loss.
Game 3 - 56 Yards - Loss.

This guy has a total of one 1,000 yard season under his belt, and even failed to beat out the great Shaun McDonald under Mike Martz's system, which is known to help even the most mediocre WR succeed. But somehow this guy will still end up as many people's top 5 WRs in the NFL. Before the season began, I saw him as high as #1 on two lists here at VSN. I laughed. No, really, I laughed. And before you label me a ''hater,'' Calvin just happenend to be one of my favorite college players. If he ever does prove me wrong, I certainly won't be disappointed. As of right now, the only top 5 list he makes, is that of the most overrated players in the NFL.

I've been saying it ever since this guy managed to get hired - he is one of the top 3 worst head coaches in the NFL today. 49ers fans here argue against that, which is understandable since 49ers fans have been completely fucking clueless for years now. If you ever want a good sermon, or your troubled teenager needs his life turned around, this is your guy.. If you need a good NFL head coach, you might want to leave this sack of shit in SF, where he's appreciated - somehow.

This is correct. The whistle was blown and the line didn't block. That is the only reason the 1st try was blocked.

I didn't see it. I just heard he called a TO and it was blocked.

Either way coaches have to realize that they have to call the TO before the kicker even has a chance to attempt the kick or attempting to freeze him ends up being worthless and just gives him a chance to practice

Completely agree with you on Calvin and Mike. Calvin can blame it on Shaun Hill, but he is just simply not getting it done.

I truly believe Mike Singletary is the guy holding San Francisco back from taking the next step.
He's simply not a head coach.
He's a co-ordinator ... a motivator ... but not a head coach.
His teams make mistakes high school teams shouldn't make. They are prepared to play teams with lesser talent.
Being an NFL coach requires a guy with attention to detail. Singletary simply isn't that guy - he's too emotional and, quite frankly, I think a case of an ex-player who can't be a head coach.

Being an NFL coach requires the utmost discipline, organization, etc...

San Francisco, sadly for Alex Smith, needs a new head coach. Someone with a real plan.

I thought about adding Larry Fitzgerald, who got even less yards than Calvin Johnson.. But honestly, I grow tired of laughing at that guy, and his inability to get open....ever.

Looks like my yearly prediction might come true after all - I did say Larry Fitzgerald wouldn't have a single 100 yard game in 2010 without Kurt Warner.

Louis Murphy doesn't have a quarterback either, yet he's averaging 79 yards per game, more than Larry Fitzgzerald. If I bothered to look, which I won't, Danny Amendola is probably averaging more yards per game, too.

But like I said, I grow tired of laughing at Larry - he's irrelevant now, without Kurt Warner..

I wouldn't write off Fitzgerald so quickly.
He's injured and playing with a lousy QB for the first time in a long time.
He'll be back to being a top-3 WR in the NFL soon enough.
I sometimes think we, as fans, tend to overlook injuries and just expect players to be at 100% regardless of their physical ailments.
