Coming from the King of Homers, I laugh.

I had this guy as the best QB prospect in the last four draft classes - my only sure thing, can't miss in many many years, but even I am a bit surprised how quickly he's picking up the game. I realize that we won't be winning many games this season, but hopefully, even my Rams brethren, the backstabbers, and bandwagon jumpers that they are, can finally forget about Marc Bulger and AJ Feeley, and start enjoying what's going to be a very bright future. I can honestly say I haven't been this excited about a quarterback since 1999, when Kurt Warner came in for a busted up, injury prone hack that was Trent Green. As good as Kurt Warner is, one of the greatest QBs in NFL history, you can't help but start the comparisons.. Sam Bradford has a better arm, slightly better accuracy, and about the same leadership capabilities, which will show more as the weeks go by.

It might not be fair to compare Sam Bradford to Kurt Warner this soon, but when you draft the best QB prospect in many many years, you can't help but be excited about the future. I'm not going to bash Washington either, because Mike Shanahan will even tell you, that McNabb wasn't his first choice to play under center - it was Sam Bradford. Shanahan worked the phones more than any other HC for that #1 spot, saying that Sam Bradford was the best QB prospect in years - something Shanahan and myself agree on.

While Sam is only 7th on my top 10 list for NFL quarterbacks, I have no doubt in my mind he'll be moving up as the seasons go by.

At least Strahan questioned Mark Sanchez at #10, which is a fair argument, since I'm not completely sold on the guy either. Eli Manning at #10 can be argued - Eli at #5 instead of Sam Bradford, really cannot be. I'm sorry, man.

Tony Romo's injury isn't getting him replaced.. If anything, it's a reason to keep him where he is.. When he was in the game, Dallas was rolling.. Once he went down, the game took a completely different turn. There comes a time when winning games, means more than the fancy stats you put up, which is why Tony dropped one spot this year. If he doesn't live up to expectations soon, he'll be removed.

You people gave Drew Brees 8 seasons, you can give Tony Romo a 6th season.

Did you see the game last night? He threw three interceptions, almost single-handedly allowing a team that his defense gave up less than 300 yards to to get within range for a last-second win.

If not for that amazing defense and Dallas's lack thereof (for most of the game), I don't think they would've won... Not with his three picks and Bradshaw's last-possible-moment fumble. But we don't deal in what ifs, so that's neither here nor there.

Elisha: 157/239, 65.7%, 1785 yards, (7.5 y/a), 14 TD, 11 interceptions, 5-2

Sanchize: 98/177, 55.4%, 1100 yards, (6.2 y/a), 9 TD, 2 interceptions, 5-1

Based off of these numbers, I'd take Sanchez. Granted, his completion percentage isn't as good, but he's also not turning the ball over as often.

1.1% of his passes are intercepted, to Manning's 4.6... His touchdown-to-interception ratio is better, too, but that sort of goes without saying. :ionno:

Not to say Sanchez was better last year or has put together a better body of work, yet, but so far, this year, in my opinion, he's better than Elisha.

But he's marginal at best. I mean, in this league, he's starter-worthy, but that's really not saying much. Btw, seven TDs to three interceptions, don't do much for proving he's better than Sanchez.

His 4-2 record is similar, but they only beat the Browns, Panthers, Rams, and Bengals. All of those games were within three points except for Carolina, and they got blown-out by New Orleans and Pittsburgh at home.

Of course, I haven't watched Bucs games this year, so I'll ask the rest of the forum: Is he better than Sanchez?

I mean, Eli's only real good seasons were the last two, and I don't think those were on the same level as some of the top guys around the league - Brees, Brady, Manning the Greater... Though I will agree that I don't think Bradford is better.

I can see where everyone one that list could be considered top 10 so far this season, EXCEPT Bradford. His teams not winning, his numbers are just ok, i just don't see how you could look at anything he's done and say he's a top 10 QB RIGHT NOW.

lolololol. I meant statistically. And it's arguable that 2007's success was more due to the defense, seeing as how he led the league with 20 interceptions. But I concede that I should have clarified.
