Nuk's Top 10 Worst Movies of 2009.

There's still a little over a month left, so changes could be made, but I find it hard to believe that many movies will suck as much as the ones I'm about to list, so I doubt any major changes will be made. This list is based on movies I have seen, so if you see some of your least favorites left off, like ''Dance Flick,'' it isn't because it's not worthy, it's simply because I refuse to watch it. I'll be posting one movie per day, for the next 10 days. If you find yourself about defend any of these films, it means only two things - you're a complete fucking moron, or you have no taste whatsoever.. The only third option, would be a mixture of both. So, don't even bother.

It came down to ''Wolverine'' or ''Twilight: New Moon,'' but as bad as Twilight is, it really wasn't close. ''Wolverine'' could very well be higher on other lists, but I was ''fortunate'' enough to see 9 movies even worse than this piece of shit. But that's not taking anything away from ''Wolverine,'' because it's most certainly worthy of a top 5 spot, on any shit list of 2009.

And yes, I went into this one with my brain shut off.... and it still sucked... but #9 is even worse.

Hint: Could Gerrard Butler be the first male actor to ever get three movies in one year, on my top 10 shit list? The next Sly Stallone?

The Ugly Truth and Gamer were fucking terrible.

Horror movies are tough to call, because if I wanted to, I could make a top 10 list using that genre alone. So, I tend to shake them off, and move on. A good example would be - Friday The 13th (2009.) Yes, it is worthy of making my list, but I'm still debating if I should even bother.

Taken came out in January, I remember nuke really bitching about that one.

Looking at the list of movies that came out, I only went to see a few of them:

Yeah, Origins was really underwhelming. The special effects weren't that great and the plot was predictable. It was a below average movie to me.

of those, Zombieeland is easily my favorite, Observe and Report was boring and Watchmen was just ok to a comic book fan

You should make a top 10, but I doubt you even like that many movies in 20 years let alone 1. Wolverine was terrible, I agree.

I usually make a top 10 every year, but it's usually at the very end of the year. This year, though, is a bit more difficult than previous years, because I have yet to see 10 great movies. My top 10 last year was something like...

Yea Knowing, Dance Flick, and Transformers are terrible movies. Id even throw in Public Enemies. It dragged on too long and i thought it would have been better to leave some of the historical facts unchanged.

So top 4 for me would be

4. Public Enemies
3. Transformers 2
2. Knowing
1. Dance Flick

Than i can list about 6 others that are horror movies including the Unborn and Uninvited. But Nuk your right man theres hasent been enough quality movies to post a top 10 this year.

Distrcit 9, Drag Me To Hell, Inglourious Basterds, 500 Days of Summer, Up, Star Trek, Pandorum, Zombieland are just a few I can think of that were great this year. Not to mention some of the upcoming ones like Precious, The Road, Lovely Bones, Bothers, Sherlock Holmes. 2009 might not be the best year for movies but its not like there were great movies released.

Edit: Kowing wasnt a horrible movie. It wasnt great, but cmon how many movies actually have the world destoryed at the end. Almost all movies have same lameass miracle where the guy saves the world.

If only Nicolas Cage could have stumbled on the terrifying reality of his failing career - he could have set out to prevent that from happening, instead of wasting our time with yet another half assed disaster flick. We can always use another, right? But then again, I have come to depend on Cage's yearly presence on these lists. And to be honest, there's a few movies out there, which I'll be adding to my dishonorable mention list, that are probably more worthy of making this spot, but like I said, this list wouldn't be complete without Nicolas Cage, and he has yet to fail me. Perhaps he can redeem his recent failures with the upcoming ''Bad Lieutenant?'' It'll be short lived, because I'll be seeing him here again late 2010. That's a prediction far more likely to come true.
